Hello John,
In your first topic, it is not clear if BuddyPress has been installed and activated. You did mention GeoDirectory BuddyPress integration, which is a different addon.
Please confirm you have installed and activated BuddyPress, which is a 3rd party addon. That is required for the GeoDirectory BuddyPress integration.

You can find the Geodirectory Dashboard underneath the normal WordPress menu item for Dashboard
WordPress – Dashboard – Geodirectory

May 5, 2018 at 11:32 am in reply to: Near me Page Meta issue & issue in location based pages #429211The Location pages are not CPT Specific, so the CPT descriptions will have to be added manually.
You are not using Category in the URL, and that is a location page, not a category page, so it will not display category information.
The information in Schools CPT – Schools CPT Categories – Edit Free Schools Category – Category+City Description (Rajpur), for example, will only show on a category+location archive/listing page like schools-cpt/india/agra/rajpur/free-schools-category/ , which will not be produced if category is not used in the URL.
The neighborhood information is showing correctly now in the meta description on the page linked above.
Are you using category in the url?

Jeff,
the team will look into these things for V2, thanks for bringing them to our attention.
To allow users to add listings, there are several settings at:
GeoDirectory – Design – Navigation
When “Allow add from frontend” is selected, then links for Adding those CPTs will be added to the loginbox.
Other links can be added to custom menus at the normal WordPress Menu settings.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/themes-creating-a-menu/What do you see as the problem, exactly?
Is it possible that a different Geocoder, not Google, was used to set latlon previously?
In which case, when you resubmit the address to Google, you might then end up with a different latlon.
You can export and geocode externally with Google. Is that the kind of fix you mean?
Subpage?
Location pages are created automatically.
Near search ‘IN’ a region happens automatically once the user has selected the region, such that listings within the cities within the regions are searched.
Do you want to show us how you have it setup now?
Are you already using the full location in the URL?
This reply has been marked as private. That is an unknown, but you can let us know if you have any problems with GD when you use it.

May 4, 2018 at 8:11 pm in reply to: trying to separate the user registration page from the login page #429157Hello,
It is not possible to split the login/registration page for GD without a customization.
If you are using UsersWP also, they should be set for different pages, so GD uses one, and UsersWP uses the other.
Right now, as far as I know, it is not possible to remove the password from the UsersWP registration page. However, you could rename/relabel ‘username’ to be ‘Full name’ so that you have Name, Email, and Password.
I am unaware of that error message being generated by UsersWP or GD, it is coming from another plugin.
GD cannot be network activated.
It can be installed in the Network site, but must be activated on a per site basis.
