One way to do that with Geodirectory would be to use the Custom Post Types addon.
Create a CPT called “Advertiser”
Allow your site users to fill in a profile for the Advertiser.
Then create a CPT called “Ad”
Now allow your advertisers to create ‘classsified’ Ads, and link the Ad to the Advertiser.May 2, 2018 at 10:00 am in reply to: Don't know how to use "Make Friends" and "Message" features via Buddypress… #428765I can only point out the instructions provided by Google

This reply has been marked as private.1] I believe I’d selected where I wanted the GeoDirectory home page to come up (on a parent page showing in my main menu, which I named Directory). But when I preview that page it doesn’t show the directory home page. Do I need to add a short code? (also, I can’t find where I made that setting)
There are two settings
GD Home page, go to Geodirectory – Permalinks – GD Home and choose the page that will be the home page of the directory.
Then at WordPress – Settings – General – Static Front Page – you can choose the same page or another one for your site home/Front page.
To add widgets to the GD Home page (which is also used for Location pages) go to – WordPress – Widgets – Appearance and add GD widgets to the Home areas. You can also visit Geodirectory – Design – Home to make sure all the widget areas that you want are enabled.
2] The instructions for setting up are telling me that I should have these pages (below). I see the GD home page and that’s it. How can I get them or restore them?
You can simply create new pages one by one and then set them into the GD Permalinks, or you can try the tool at Geodirectory – Tools – Page tool (but this only works if they pages don’t exist).
Once you have your GD Home page widgets assigned, and the GD Home page permalink assigned, you should be able to add a widget, then view the home page and see the widget show up. You can also add dummy content to make sure there is something to see.
You’re welcome 🙂
Hello,
There are two relevant settings.
First at
Geodirectory – Design – Listings – New listing default status – SET Published
Then for Paid listings,
Geodirectory – Prices and Payments – Paid Listing Status – SET Published
Hope that helps
