Add City ,County and State .

    Add City, County and State Category to the Directory.
    I want to my category feature link first onclick go to select state after that Select County and then Select city.

    Hello,

    It is not recommended to use categories for locations.

    Instead, add listings to each area (city/region/country) and then add a widget like the Popular Locations widget to your Home Page widget area:

    OK,

    each location page will have a URL. You can certainly create links to them to create a ‘drill down’ effect like that.

    Hi Rob,

    We’ve not tested GD with the mentioned plugins. But as far as I know, you can’t use two directory plugins together as it would conflict. As for the classifieds plugin, are you having issues using it with GD?

    One way to do that with Geodirectory would be to use the Custom Post Types addon.

    Create a CPT called “Advertiser”
    Allow your site users to fill in a profile for the Advertiser.
    Then create a CPT called “Ad”
    Now allow your advertisers to create ‘classsified’ Ads, and link the Ad to the Advertiser.
