You could also try the #loginbox widget to provide links to important areas: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox
GD provides a basic ‘author’ page and the #loginbox provides links to that and more.
Kor is right, there isn’t a widget or shortcode that will do exactly what you want right now, but you can depend on popular categories widget to show the categories that have listings showing on the page.
It is also possible to hand code a list of links pointing to the category pages directly.
GD comes with the #loginbox widget, which has links all together in one place to manage all your listings.

This widget is sometimes placed in the footer so it appears on every page, or you can add it to other templates as needed.

Please share the steps to recreate the issue. What I hear you are saying is that a new listing with any given title, a new unique title, is getting a -1. If you can tell us now to create a listing url that has a -1 added then we can find the reason it is happening.
No I only saw the 500. Now it is a different 500.

The search bar on the home page of the Supreme Directory is ‘special’ because it is included in the theme itself, however, it is possible to do a great deal with Custom CSS. Here’s is our doc about how to add custom styles to your GD site:
You want to disable the redirection?
Ah! I am sorry, I misunderstood your reply.
Let me take another look.
OK, let us know how it goes.

That sounds complex, but I think you can try this without risk
1. Examine the new default location and see the different formatting.
2. Add listings in each of the 3 places (allow multicity and multiregion until listings are created).
3. Once listings are added, go back and Set to “Select cities” but choose the new cities with correct formatting.
4. Now your add listing form should work with the 3 expected cities (with correct data)Later you can merge the old locations or update other listings.
You could consider setting up a staging site to try the settings there.

For showing business information like title in another listing, that is a customization, but we have an example here to get you started. Search on the following page for “Listing Page – Add linked business information to event listings”: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-are-some-examples-of-changes-that-a-developer-can-make-to-the-listings-page/
