Hello,
the Claim Listings addon will show the author of listings that have been claimed.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/author-name/
Once installed you can check the setting to link the author name to their author page.
For the Popular Categories widget, in the past other members have chosen to add a ‘sample listing’ which is often a sort of advertisement into each category so it shows up in the popular categories widget and so the page is not empty.
Some have taken it a step further to add a listing in each city of the directory for each category.
Other than that, it is a customization to show empty categories.
Hello,
please do contact your host. This must have something to do with the setup on your server.
Have you disabled all the cache systems on the hosting setup?
Hello,
here are some related forum topics:

you can use the action : social_connect_form Example: add_action( 'social_connect_form', 'my_accept_terms' ); function my_accept_terms() {echo //snippet for your terms plugin here;}Hello,
If you are using just one country, then it is possible to remove the country the url, but if you are using more than one city or region, then both region and city must be in the URL. We recommend that you keep the full location in the URL in both cases.
For the page title, that depends on your theme. Some GD themes like Directory Starter will show a page title, as shown here: https://wpgeo.directory/starter/places/united-kingdom/west-sussex/
Other without integration will only use GD default options for the meta title, which is configured at GD – Titles and Metas – Location page meta – Location page meta titleThe default setting contains the location and is:
%%title%% %%location%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%You can read more about it here
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-titles-metas/
Yes, it is possible, but the settings are all within WPML.
March 20, 2018 at 6:31 am in reply to: Don't know how to use "Make Friends" and "Message" features via Buddypress… #422167Hello,
you can try setup of popular posts like in the attached screenshot.
I am sorry that what we have available doesn’t fit your case right now. We don’t undertake customizations here in the forum, but you can contact a GD Expert to work on these snippets to make them suit your site: https://geodirectoryexperts.com
I have flagged your question for the developers in case they have an easy fix.
Hello,
Please send over the site WP Admin access and we can take a look.
A snippet is a small piece of code for overriding a feature. If you aren’t using them, that is one less place to check for an issue.
The site may be running a plugin with nefarious purposes. Try disabling/deactivating all non-GD plugins to identify which plugin is causing this issue.

try clearing your browser cache for the site.Hello,
in GD – Design there are various options related to the navigation for the user of the site.
These include adding menus for navigation, as well as settings for how certain links behave.
Some of the options are specific to the user/author, the user who has created listings.
Included with GD is a type of link that displays on the author page that directs the user to a list of the listings they have created, and I believe that to be the link you mentioned above.
There are more options for advanced profiles, and showing the actual listings a user has created inside the profile with our plugin UsersWP, a fast and lightweight plugin available at https://userswp.io
GD shouldn’t conflict with other member plugins, but, it may be necessary to redirect the user login links for GD. GD users must sign in to add or edit listings, and so GD has various links and behaviors where it is necessary to send the user to a login screen. If you want to use another plugin for membership and login, and that ha been setup on a specific page, then you can use this snippet to redirect the user to your membership plugin login: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/redirecting-the-login-page/
For more information about the GD Design options, you can see this page here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/
Hello,
that shouldn’t happen, please send over your site details so we can take a look.
