New users can't add new place listing

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    OK so I did a clean install – set up supreme theme from scratch. still seems to be broken?

    Only things active are GD and code snippets.

    login details are the same for you guys…

    Try disabling the snippets incase its something there…
    The user does not seem to be and admin anymore?

    Hi Ross,

    It seems to be a SESSIONS issue but i am not sure what the exact problem is, can you try asking your server admin to change the sessions setting
    session.use_only_cookies = On
    to
    session.use_only_cookies = Off

    P.S. GDv2 core beta will be coming out on Monday, it does not use sessions for add listing.

    I also tried disabling SSL but that seemed to make things worse!

    Hello,

    please do contact your host. This must have something to do with the setup on your server.

    Have you disabled all the cache systems on the hosting setup?

    Yeah sorry – other day job took over – hosts allow ftp on for only 1 week at a time and again, this forum didn’t email me the updates, despite ticking the box below :-/

    Anyway presumably V2 is beyond beta by now?

    No probs. The beta is on its 10th release now, there is a change log at the bottom of this post: https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-first-beta-release/
    I hope by the end of next week we will be through all the bugs and finished some feature suggestions we plan to implement. Addons are already being worked on also.
