A. You will need the Location Manager addon to add listings outside your default location: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
1. Try here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/ and if that doesn’t work please send the page URL so we can check it. For information about how to add CSS see here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
2. No, but you can hide it: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#legend
3. You can hide/exclude the ones you don’t want shown at GD – Design – Map (at the bottom)
Hello,
Payment Manager is integrated with WP Invoicing, which is required, and has multiple payment gateways.
Please install that
You can visit https://wpinvoicing.com/your-account/ and you will see your downloads section using the same credentials as you use on this site.
I think the categories you are using in the logic are place categories, but the page you linked is not a GD page, therefore the widget will not be able to filter by category, because the GD category in the logic is not applicable to that post.
I recommend you use only is_page to filter, or use only the category of the post itself, as opposed to the GD categories.
Front end only should be enough.
This functionality is part of how the plugin works, to have the breadcrumbs and category links filtered for location, but it isn’t always the most desirable solution for a small and/or hyper-local directories.
For larger directories it is extremely important, and a big part of the SEO strategy. Putting this customization into effect doesn’t delete any pages, but it does make the links to the location specific category pages harder to find and so there is less of a chance of backlinks
An interesting idea, indeed. For the most part our members work with less than 100,000 locations and the table structure has served the well.
If when working with the table structure as designed you do encounter longer than expected query times please let us know and we can provide advice for optimization.
That looks like you have some custom widget settings with X theme, moving a sidebar into the header area.

Hello,
UsersWP splits up the pages, login and register. http://userswp.io
It’s a very lightweight plugin and the pages allow you to add your content as you describe. For the customization, I will flag your question for the developers so they can offer a pointer. Thanks for your patience while they look into your questions.
Hello,
are you still having an issue?
If so, please check the credentials as we are unable to login with the credentials above.
Please let us know
thanks 🙂
You could certainly do it that way, and many people do choose to do it that way, absolutely. You can also simply use the “Places” CPT (one CPT) and use categories to differentiate between different business types, all on a single site.
Hello,
that is a custom link in your menu to the login page.
You can add the Claim Listing Addon if you want to display links to the author page on your listings.
To clarify, even though WP is doing “something weird” with the %%category%% string (cutting off the first part of it) even if it was fully complete, the %%category%% tag is not active on the search page and so shouldn’t be included.
Hope that helps
In most cases this is an issue with the token, that your token needs to be refreshed.
Please try logging into your GD site and clicking the “Connect” again and follow through to make sure the app is connected.
You’re welcome 🙂
Glad it’s working for you
