Hello,
it seems to save for me, could you try clearing your browser cache? See if that helps.
The app will need to be connected again, and I recommend reviewig your facebook settings again.
You will need to be authorize the FB app using the same FB account that you used to create the app.
Let us know how it goes
Hello,
a note about helper text on the description field.
There is text, but it only shows if the listing is being added is added with a package with a listing description field character count limitation. You will need to translate the Pricing Manager Addon to change the text. You can find an original string example here:
“For description you can use up to %d characters only for this package.”
To apply the change you want, you can edit this text in the translation, and then enable the listing description limit in GD > Priecs and Payments > Package > Apply description limit?
Still working on helper text for title and map bubble show description.
With the Location Manager Addon you get an interface for managing the additional locations:
Hello,
Please complete the basic installation, and then assign GD Widgets to your pages at:
WP > Appearance > Widgets
Especially for the Home and Listing pages.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/getting-started/Yes, you are “translating” into the same language. You enter the new text as the translation, and follow the instruction to install
Hello,
We recommend you use the code snippets plugin to manage your customizations
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#snippets
However, the developers will have to get back to you about the map bubble and add listing page customizations.
Thanks for your patience while they look into it.
You can use the “Unsubscribe” option at the top of the page to opt out.
Thank you for the background about the listings. When the developers take a look they will keep that in mind. I have not heard of that happening before, but they will need to take a look to suss out the issue.
Hello,
double check your GD Permalinks to make sure you have a page set for each option.
After that, visit WP > Permalinks and save them again.
If that doesn’t work, you can make a private reply with your site URL and WP Admin credentials and we will take a look.
Yes, there are many many thousands of links you probably won’t use, but they help google cross reference the data on your site.
Ah, I’m sorry, I thought you were talking about the other other popup.
That text can be found in the Claim Manager Addon po file.
Here’s a link to where it appears in the Spanish version:
Awesome!
Hello,
now that the GD Permalinks are set, the vast majority of the pages are no longer 404.
locations, as in the locations listed in the Multilocations -> Manage Locations, are added when a listing is added in a new area/location. I did a check myself to see that there was indeed a listing in Isle of Man. So someone added a listing there at some point in time, resulting in that location being added.
there is only one ‘technical issue’ that I see (though I may have missed one, so let us know if you see something) and it is that some URLs are being submitted without a slug. The developers will check on this when they get back into the office after the weekend.
Let us know if you see anything else or have more questions
🙂
Hello Joe,
You can share your code here and we can take a look and try to tell you why it isn’t working. Just paste it in and use the code button to format it.
Thanks
