It was always a character limit.
Hello,
can you tell us the desired behavior you are looking for?
About the examples, is there a post with the custom disabled access field set to yes?
The link you sent reads “Non-existent changeset UUID.”
Do you know what that is about?
Hello Glenn,
have you tried entering the details again and saving them?

Hello,
I was able to import a different listing, so the plugin is working.
However, it may be a problem with the accent in the URL
I tried to find another listing on Yelp with the same spelling of Montreal but couldn’t find one.
I will flag this for the developers to recreate with the listing URL you supplied above.
The url shows with replacement characters, but reads in chrome like: ” montréal ”
Hello,
do you still need any help with the map widget on the sidebar for the detail page? Let me know if you do, please.
About your follow up post:
When you make a new topic, it is public, but the additional replies you make can be set to private.
It sounds like you are editing the theme files. The changes will be overwritten when the theme is updated. You can use a plugin like Code Snippets to save your changes and avoid overwriting them.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#snippetsI am trying to add links to the My Account menu …. for Edit Listings
We have an example on this page, to be used as a snippet. Search for “My Account Area – Add links”
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/detail-page/
Let us know how that goes for you, and do also let me know about the widget if you still need help with that.
Hello,
can you give an example of the page and field where you see each of those types of errors?
thanks for helping us understand it more clearly.

With translation you can change the text of Place title and place description.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Title and description refer to the basic WP post fields, and are not custom fields and don’t show in that list.
For how to add some field instructions to the title and description, and for how to display the description in the map bubble, I will refer your question for the developers.
Thanks for your patience while they look into it.
Not without a pretty significant customization, no, sorry.
February 4, 2018 at 3:25 am in reply to: Importing Installed GD from sub-domain to root domain? #415837Hello,
you must run GD on the site where you will use the shortcodes; it is not possible to pull content from another site with the built in settings that GD Offers.
A brief and partial overview of the process:
On Child site-
Backup the site
Export your listings – Follow export instructions
Download your imagesOn Parent Site
Backup the site
Create a NEW test/staging siteOn NEW test site
Follow GD Basic Installation Instructions
Add new GD Home page “Directory” for example
Setup CPTs to match child site
Adjust CSV to have the same dates for all listings
Upload Images to the correct image folder based on date
Import listingsWhen it works as expected, duplicate the procedure to your satisfaction on production site, or deploy test/stage site to production.
More details are covered in our documents:

Hello Kent,
You can take a look at the page options there. Is it the same on every detail page? or just one?
Please send over your site details and a link to an example so we can take a look at what is causing that.
