Hello!
We have a doc about how to work with updates here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#updates
If you are having trouble with an update, here’s an approach to try, step by step:
1. Go to WP Plugins Page
2. Pick one of the plugins that needs an update
3. Click on “”License”” -> Click Deactivate
4. Refresh the page
5. Find the same plugin again and re-enter your license (you can find your here:https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/)
6. Click Activate
7. Refresh the page
8. Click on “”Update now””I admit that it doesn’t seem quite that smooth. In the end, what you need to do is get the license to activate, and then come back to the page and do the update.
Hope that helps
Hello!
The url change goes along with changing the package. Each package is assumed to have different fields available, and so the form refreshes.
Please check your packages to ensure that each of the fields you want to be available are in fact available for each of the packages. If you have fields that are ‘disappearing’ it is because those fields are ‘allowed’ for one package and ‘denied’ to a different package.
Please review those package settings and let us know if the field availability doesn’t match up with what you are seeing.
A note: When you add new fields (to your business CPT for example) after you have already created the packages, you must return to those packages and approve those fields for the packages. This is a workflow of sorts for managing your listing fields and their corresponding packages.
Hello!
Automatic updates for licensed plugins are possible with WP Easy Updates:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/wp-easy-updates/
Please install that and get your GD core and Addons up to date.
Hello!
I have flagged this and we will follow up to take a look as soon as the team gets back into the office Monday. Whatever you can open up is what they’ll have to work with.
Hello!
You are using “Near Me” for your search results.
Please review the setup here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/
And about GD Search here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/When near me is enabled, it will show you locations that are “Near” to your location. It will measure this based on the center of the location that you are “Near”. This may omit results.
You will need to provide us with links to the listing you are looking for in the text of a reply here, as we cannot open documents.
Please provide step by step instructions for replicating the issue you are experiencing.
Hello!
You are talking about the translated franchises?
Which plugin do you think should automatically create the places? WPML does not automatically create listings, and neither does GeoDirectory.
If you are interested in bulk updating the sub-listings, you can do that by exporting the data as a CSV, and then importing the data again.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/changing-franchises/
If there is a bug or issue in your software, please provide a link to a test main listing where we can test by adding franchises that is already existing in multiple languages.
Also, please create a private reply with your WP Admin and FTP Information. You will need to send that information for each separate ticket.
Thank you
Hello!
Feature requests go here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
You can add that kind of choice to your advanced search form now with a Multiselect customfield, using checkboxes and OR settings.
If you are concerned about spacing and aesthetics of the field, that is really part of the conversation you have with your developer. We provide several basic implementations with the free themes etc etc.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello!
Please try a fixed width for sticky maps:

You should have at least one other widget, too:

Hello!
Is there still an issue?
Hello!
I still can’t get in using those credentials; SSH and SFTP both timeout.
We will be limited to the logs you send over and what we can see in WP.
Hello!
Have you done a test like?
fresh install (WP and GD)
setup Google API Key
Set default location
add demo content
export listings
delete all listings from WP
import the (previously exported) CSV (without making any changes)This will help you to establish a baseline.
If you haven’t already, please read the advice for imports at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/
LibreOffice is the (only) tested and recommended solution.
Hello!
Divi has options that should allow you to put in shortcodes without altering the output.

Any custom fields, pre-defined or ad-hoc, can be configured in the Price Packages.
