We do support the REST API, if we could persuade you to consider that route.

Please clear your cache for the site. Close all tabs with the site open and then proceed to clear cache.

You can add as duplicates of each widget or shortcode.
Most commonly this is done with Popular Posts, but you can use any of them that allow you to filter by category.

GD Pages should not have a parent page.
I am not aware of any changes to GD that would have changed your page.
You can always create a new page for the Add Listing page and then set that page in your
GD > Permalinks > Add Listing

We don’t have an integration with those plugins yet, but, if the goal is to send notification, then perhaps another plugin for messaging would be a better choice. One approach might be to give the owners of a paid listing access to purchase a push message using the messaging plugin to create a message, for example.
