Please share WP Admin so we can check those settings, then.
Thanks
Hello,
GD has some powerful sorting tools inside the Custom Post Type settings.
You can find that in Places -> Settings -> Sorting (tab)
Configure a sort there and then, go back to your GD listings and setup the shortcode again, but this time you can choose that new sort, too, from within the GD Listings settings.
We highly recommend that you create another Custom Post Type called ‘online’ or something similar. Then in the settings for that CPT use the option to “Disable physical address for this post type”
You can see the option on this page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/custom-post-types/
Hello,
you are correct, the GeoDirectory Archive page template does not contain a footer. Adding one requires a customization of the PHP template files and falls outside of support.
Titles and Metas are generated from settings using templates. You can find the settings as described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#titles-and-meta
Your site appears to have BP and UsersWP running. We recommend you only use one or the other. If you don’t need BuddyPress then UsersWP should serve you well.
To help users add listings you can add a link to the menu to the add-listing page.
You can find a wide variety of links supplied by GD including a link to the add-listing page in the WP Menus
Please try re-saving permalinks as described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/#404If that doesn’t fix it please share WP Admin credentials and login URL so we can check the settings.
What is the site login URL, please?
Try running the Clear Version tool
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#toolsIf that doesn’t work, you can try deactivating and reactivating the addon.
If that doesn’t work please share WP Admin so we can take a look.
January 17, 2020 at 8:55 pm in reply to: tittle of listing missing from the front end and showing in the backend #526219Sorry, not quite getting it. Please share a link so we can get a picture of what you mean.
You would need to contact the theme author about the images.
For titles, you would adjust the archive title settings in the Titles and Metas settings.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#titles-and-meta
For the archive item, you would edit the GD Archive item template
The GD Categories widget is what you mean?
It has a number of options, and when you set up your own with the shortcode builder or the widget or block, use the blue button to reveal all the advanced options.
With GD Categories options you cancertainly set a limit of 5 categories. Unfortunately it isn’t possible to choose which ones will be displayed. The 5 categories with the most listings will appear first and be sorted as you specify in the settings.
Are you using a fieldset?
You will need to use the pre-defined franchise listing ‘field
with shortcode as the tab, not a fieldset. If that isn’t it, tell us how you have it setup and share wp admin if we need to check the settings.
If you want listings to be published once the order is paid, then set the package listing status to published.
You were informed of the terms and conditions at purchase point and reminded of the support policy in previous topics.
Sites using premium plugins need a license to receive support.
GeoDirectory only deals with ‘point’ data.
Are you only looking to create overlays?
If so you can install the Custom Maps addon and view some of the examples provided for Open Street Map layers.
You might notice that some of the maps are overlays, one for a baselayer with political boundaries and another with labels.
I would recommend you contact a developer who can create a custom OSM compatible tileset with that data, and then you can add it as a custom provider to show the overlay.
Those layers are not ‘interactive’ but that would be a solution for getting those boundaries visible when you use GeoDirectory for point data.
