We will look into that
There is a fix for this coming in the next release of the Supreme Directory child theme. The developers are adding a few more updates but plan to release it very, very soon. Please hang on for that update which should fix this issue directly.
I re-uploaded as a PNG and that one disappeared, too, in the sense that the link was no good. The server could be timing out when processing PNG. JPEGs seem ok. Contact your host to ask if there are error logs and to find out the timeout setting.

You may need to pre-render the shortcode, then.

The point is that you can render a shortcode in a function and then do-something with the output on the page.
Unticking a category hides those items on the map, but only if they aren’t in another category, too. Hope that makes sense.
The Title filter will use the typed text to filter the pins for the title only.
Both can be hidden in the map advanced options. Choose directory map type and then the blue button to show the advanced options.

I will ask the developers to take a look.
There is a notification for that, the Pending Listing Notification email, “Send an email to admin when the listing submitted by a user is under pending review.”
You can find that at GD -> Settings – Emails (tab) – Admin emails (subtab)
