In any case, the CSS would look similar to the example above, you might just need to wrap the shortcode in a custom class and target that class.This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.I see what you mean. That should be redirecting to the default author dashboard, as you don’t have BD or UsersWP installed, but it does indeed appear to link directly home.

If Places was renamed with the Custom Post Type addon, that will be carried over. In any case it is a quick changes with the CPT addon. It should not have an effect on your categories.
Translations will need to be redone, though, as V2 has new translation strings.
Could it be a cache issue? Do disable all cache while making changes to your templates.
About the sidebar on the details page, we aim to make GDV2 work with any theme. If your theme has a reasonable treatment for posts and sidebars there shouldn’t be a problem.
