Thanks for your post.
We don’t actually provide customizations here in the forum, though we do try to advise when we can and time allowing.
If you need time sensitive help for your customization from GD Experts you should contact a developer here.
https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
The developers will provide an update reply as soon as they are able.
To add a map, you can add a shortcode, block, or widget to the page. Open the page, edit it, and add GD Map.

April 24, 2019 at 7:53 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482661Elementor Pro has a specific feature called Theme Builder. See the product page or contact Elementor support if you need clarification.
April 24, 2019 at 7:50 pm in reply to: Setting up copy of GeoDirectory in a subfolder – "Download failed. Unauthorized" #482660The same applies because it is a different site URL.
Please try the method Kor suggests. If it doesn’t work we will be happy to take a look, just write back with your WP Admin credentials in a private reply. This reply has been marked as private. That depends on the phone. Most phones, when confronted with a map link will show an intent screen. That is not part of GD, though.
April 24, 2019 at 7:42 pm in reply to: You can edit the contents directly, or use an advanced theme builder to create.. #482656Sorry for the confusion. This is main doc we have about using builders: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/
If you find an error there please let me know and I will correct it.
you can adjust the sorting for listings on the frontend archive pages as shown here. One of the options is to set the sort as default.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/See also the options for archive URLs here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/location-manager/
Edit the archive item template. Change out the GD Post Meta key=”post_content” for GD Post Content

Search results are always returned and sorted by relevance and in the case of near search, distance is the most relevant.
April 24, 2019 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Split: Remove the word "Category" from the urls of the categories #482646That’s right, category base is required. It is possible to change it but not remove it.
This reply has been marked as private. You will want to adjust the archive item template for that CPT to change the layout for all listings of that CPT, or use custom CSS if you want to hide items only in that particular display.
