Before you go any further I highly recommend you take a complete backup.
1. Some changes to your site like renaming/changing the folder may prompt a request for the license key. You should be able to deactivate and reactive the key, just copy it to the clipboard and paste it back in.
2. Have you considered the recommendation to perform the work on a staging site, or to put the site into maintenance while you complete it?
3. GDV2 may need some adjust like moving or adding widgets or adjusting the template used for the GD Detail page.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/If they aren’t listed they are ‘free’ in the shop. Just ‘buy’ them and they will be listed, both versions
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/themes/That is because the GD home page is ‘just a page’ and not a GD page as in a template etc.
You could try “show on all pages” and then use a plugin like widget logic to set additional rules for display.
Strange! I do not see anything obvious.
Please share WP Admin so we can check on the settings.Do you have a backup of the site?
OK Chris, and do make a new topic if you run into somethign else we can help with.
excellent
It could be that adding listings for that post type from the frontend is disabled.
Check in the CPT – Settings – General tab, Show advanced, disable frontend add.
If that isn’t the issue, please provide WP Admin credentials with login url in a private reply so we can take a look.
I will flag your question for the developers and they will let us know if there is an update.
You can always find a shortcode editor in the Tabs UI
CPT (Places) – Settings – Tabs
Open that up and add a shortcode field to see a shortcode builder button. You can copy and paste shortcodes that way.Every shortcode is available as a widget. With siteorigin we recommend you use widgets. Select a GD Post Content widget and adjust the settings.
To see how page templates work please watch the video here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/Hi,
To provide you with the fastest possible service when you make a support request you can follow up on your topic with an immediate private reply that includes all the access info we may need to login and debug the issue on your site.
You don’t have to do this, but it can save a couple of email exchanges.
Try posting them in the following format so they are easy to read and find in the topic:
WordPress Administrator Account Credentials
WP Admin Login URL:
Username:
Password:SFTP / FTP Credentials
Host URL:
Port:
Username:
Password:Thanks, and looking forward to getting to the bottom of the issue!
🙂
You have posted this in core plugin support for GDV1.
However, it sounds like you are using GDV2.
Maybe you are also using a GD theme? Which one?
Of note, GDV2 the plugin comes with a design element called “GD Post Title” which can be set as H1 or H2. Have you tried that?
DS and Supreme both for GDV2 have H1s on their archive pages.
