Joy, when you edit the directory map options, the advanced options should allow you to enter the slugs for a particular location. I don’t know if that will work but could be worth a try.
Open a new GD > Map element
Select Advanced Properties
Select Map Type -> Directory
Add in the slugs for the location on which you want to center the map
Adjust other options as needed and saveHi Joy,
It sounds like you might do better with using a 3rd party slider like Slider Revolution. They have a hack that can randomize slides. You could use that on a detail listing template in V2 no problem.
Hello,
GD seems to be working as expected. For each field you want to show in Detail page sidebar, open the field properties in
GD – Settings – Directory settings (CPT) – Custom Fields – Field website (example) – Show in what locations – Detail page sidebar
Set that for each field
Here is the doc describing how this works
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/I tested the settings and they work, please adjust as you see fit
When will you upgrade to GDV2?
No,I am sorry, we do not know what empty pages you have on your site.
🙂
Yes, they drag the map marker and it automatically calculates the lat lon, location etc.
Now you have to go back and adjust the map location of the listings by editing them and adding lat lon
Text can be changed by translating the plugin and themes.

If you want to move elements around, then you should upgrade to GDV2 which gives you total control over the elements shown on the templates. Otherwise with V1 adding elements here and there is a customization you have to attempt on your own.

https://geodirectoryexperts.com/expertsYes, choose update if exists so that cats with an id will be updated.
The exported file is THE format. We have a walkthrough here for a recommended process. It is for listings but applies equally to categories.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommended
You will have to do that with Custom CSS, examples are here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/Because we set the expiration dates on the back end the users didn’t have to pay when they claimed their listings.
When they claim, the package period starts over again. Previous settings will not apply.
Can a user change pricing packages while renewing their listing???
Yes, when they edit the listing the packages are listed on the add-listing form and they can change them. Unless you have hidden them to stop them from doing that.
OK, so you can see there are differences.
I recommend you merge your data into the file you downloaded. Preserve the Cat ID for existing categories but make changes as you see fit. You don’t want there to be duplicates with the same name, so you would remove the new one.The column structure for import is very important. If you want to import they structure has to match exactly.
Let us know how it goes
The first time will be when the claim, they should have a choice then. Have you tested that?
Once they claim the period will start again. -
