The update to V2 is not complete.
You still must update the Directory Starter theme to V2.You can ‘buy’ it here in our shop, then download the V2 version.
Remove the V1 version, then upload the new V2 version. Then you will have new widget areas. You will need to reset the widgets, but, the page templates will behave as expected.
Try it now.
GeoDirectory doesn’t come with options like that, but our UsersWP plugin which does have those options, for login and registration.
You are using the default post claim.
The GD > Nina widget does not have a form selected. The Directory map type shows all posts by default.
The archive map has a param to show all, all_posts=”1″. The default for the archive map is to only show what’s on the page.
January 6, 2019 at 8:19 pm in reply to: Shortcode builder missing – full page setting, side bar on home page #461836Please send a link to the page where you want to see a sidebar. Also include login details in case we need to check the settings.
If you installed V1, and then V2, then you need to run the converter, yes.
GD and GD addons cannot/should not be network activated.
Are you goin gto use GDV1 or GDV2?
Make sure you choose the addon versions that match the version of GeoDirectory.
GDV2 addons are highlighted in orange.

If we need to check the settings, please write back in a private reply with WP Admin credentials and the site login URL.
Thanks
1. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content
2. See the info here about the GD > Output location widget. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/#sidebar – You will need to add this to the sidebar
3. I think you mean the gd_categories widget in the feature area, but I am not sure. Please say more about that and send a link to the V2 page. Right now we are collecting feedback about the use of the gd_categories feature on the V2 Supreme home page. What you describe sounds possible with CSS. We can give it a try if you send a link.OK, thanks for letting us know.
Did you check if the claim was automatically approved?
It works by matching the email of the user’s account to the email of the listing. Only if they match is the claim approved automatically.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/claim-listings-add-on-overview/
Supreme is free, so you can get it again from WordPress.org for V1 or you can get the V2 version from our shop. Don’t forget to get Directory starter at the same time.

WordPress only allows 1 theme at a time, sorry to say.
Consider the suggestion received. We add features based on demand, so, if lots of people ask for it we will consider it.
Something you might consider:
with V2 you can have multiple event CPTs.
So, let’s say there is a conference, and then the conference has sub-events called ‘talks’.
You could create a CPT call conference, and another CPT called ‘talks’.
Then you can link talks to conferences, and make the talks show up on the conferences page.
Both of them can have event dates.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/custom-post-types/
