Oh, and until yesterday in the backend at the users overview I was able to click on a link “resend activation link”. This link is not there anymore, so I cannot re-send another activation link.
Is there a way for me to activate an account from the backend?
How should I deal with clients whoes activation link does not work?
Many thanks
BirgitOh, solved it 🙂
The missing button was a browser problem, it came back with a different browser. And the bypass process worked well.
Done 🙂
BirgitSorry, I have missed to add the screenshot. Here it is…

June 4, 2019 at 9:38 am in reply to: Claim listing generally unchecked – though per default checked #490737These are the settings of my the Claim-listing CPT-field (see screenshot one) and the respective settings of every price package (see screenshot2).
With these settings user can claim the listings which I have prepared for them – everything fine.
However, any new listing created by a user as his own listing still has the button “Claim listing”, so that the user who has just created the listing then has to claim it for himself.
My aim is that
1)users should be able to claim the listings I have prepared for them (works fine right now) and
2) new listings that have been created by users do not have the button “Claim listing” because they already are owned by the user who created them. How can I achieve that?
Many thanks

what I mean is users who do not claim an existing listing but create their own new listing. Right now, the button “Claim listing” appears in every created listing of any possible package. Also when in the CPT field “show in packages” I do not include a single package, the button is always there. This should not be the case because when I as a user log in and create my own listing, the listing should not be ready to be claimed by someone else.

With a 100 % discount everyone can use the paypal gateway without even having/using paypal. So it is a recurring package with paypal and it works fine.Thank you 🙂
Hm … I am avoiding paypal as it is not so accepted by business clients in Europe, particularly not in my business.
So I am now trying to find an alternative way to realize a life long discount for those users who create their listings by a certain date.
Instead of a discount I maybe could create a package which is free and valid for ever and can be booked like this only until 31.10.2019.
To prevent people from booking the package after 31.10.2019, I would then deactivate the package. Two questions:
1) Do I assume it right that once I deactivate the package it is not visible resp. not bookable anymore?2) After I deactivate the package on 31.10.2019 – will it still be valid for those users who have booked it before 31.10.2019?
Best regards
BirgitSorry, one more question:
The discount for recurring payments only works for packages with recurrent payments, right? The only payment gateway I offer so far is advance payment via bank transfer. So far there is no recurrent package possible for bank transfer payments.
1) Does that mean, I cannot offer this code with this payment mode (even though people do not really have to pay anything)?
2) If I additionally offered paypal as payment gateway, would only those people who choose this gateway be able to take advantage of the discount?
… for me it seems funny for a discount to be dependent on the payment mode.Thank you and best regards
BirgitGreat, thanks 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I have just checked out the embeddable ratings badge and I love it!
Just one question: Is there a way to have the badge without the rating (just name of the listing and my logo)?
Maybe the owner of a listing wants to embed the badge without ratings, e. g. if he does not have any ratings yet. These embeddable badges are extremely good for my SEO. So before an owner decides not to have the badge at all because of the ratings, I would rather provide an optional badge without ratings.
Is that possible?
Best regards
BirgitHi Patrik,
just one more little question regarding empty subtabs in user profiles: Is it in the meantime also with Buddypress possible to hide empty subtabs in the user profile?Best regards
