Thank you for the response. I have managed to get the map to load properly.
Now i get the following error in a pop-up when i am busy in the wordpress dashboard.
“Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED”I have gone through your support Q&A and will activate an SSL certificate tomorrow or as soon as they have approved it. Hopefully that will solve the issue.
This reply has been marked as private.Okay guys. I have tried a number of things and nothing removed the errors or showed the maps with only an OOPS sign as a reward for all the efforts.
I then proceeded to remove all API’s and the map works, without an API? is this possible?
It still gives an error in the console: Google Maps JavaScript API warning: InvalidKey https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-keyBut the map displays the way it is supposed to. Is this normal?
Although it does show, i would like to have the warnings and errors removed as i don’t think it is supposed to operate this way.Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated?
Kind Regards
CarelThank you for your patience.
I have found an API restriction setting which had to be changed and will reply again later as I am stepping into meetings for the rest of the day.
Will let you know if i have managed to successfully sort the problem, so the ticket can be closed.
Kind Regards
Carelcool thanks, found the error log in the Java Console.
Looks like the site is not authorized? This is something that i have done where the google code is pasted into the header of the site. Let me check it againWow, excellent. Thank you for the “space” issue.
I have removed the space, but it doesn’t seem to have changed the “oops” notification.Where do you find the error log?
Should i consider creating a new API instead?
Great thanks, who can assist with customization? How do i arrange or request the customization, is there someone at GD that can assist?
Kind Regards
Carelthanks for the advice guys.
I will go over the settings again. Thanks for the run over with the screen shot; it really helped.okay great. it seems i have managed to unlink.
Now the next item on the list. The social importer does not import anything, it has a little icon that simply turns in circles. What am i missing?
By having it on the listing page, does it automatically post to the new lister’s facebook page?
Can i move it down lower into the listing page (in other words i dont want to have it right at the top)Sorry, never saw the reply.
I have un-ticked the options for all my CPT for them to link, however it still appears on the page when listing a new businesscool thanks, i have actually just activated all of them.
And have managed to do the updates successfully. This may explain why i have not been able to get the platform to work the way i wanted it to.
There are some settings that i needed to change and for some or other reason i coudlnt get them to change. I suppose this may have been the reason. One of those items is to remove the “link installation” when listing a new business. I find that guys drop out once they have registered/signed in, because the listing process is too confusing and i need to simplify it.
Will try to make the changes and let you know if i need any additional support thanks
That is great thanks, one concern though . . . . .why would they all be inactive?
Have they never been activated or do they need to be re-activated monthly? This reply has been marked as private. My apologies, I watched the video on GD analytics and it has explained everything perfectly. Consider this enquiry sorted thanks.
Thanks for the help and your patience.
Hi Stiofan
Thank you for the assistance, I think the support provided by GD is excellent and I can recommend your platform as it is the best on the net as far as i am concerned.
Yes, it has been corrected.
Somehow GD does not pick up my account with Analytics. Am I supposed to change any settings in order for this to be recognised?Kind Regards
