Yes, but note there was no ‘Is Active’ switch in the address field in the GD settings screen dashboard (but it was there in the database).
You can assume this thread is closed but I wanted to let you know this may be an ongoing bug.

I have fixed by resetting the is_active column from 0 to 1 in the table wp_geodir_custom_fields, for my specific post type and field type (address).
Doesn’t seem to be an active ‘on/off’ switch in the Geodirectory dashboard. Is there any code where that ‘active’ switch is set? Address is the only field where you can’t set an active on/off it seems.

I have the events add-on but that doesn’t quite do what I want.
I will look at using a custom field.
Look forward to seeing what GDV2 might offer as well.

Thanks for getting back but I have tried that (deactivating) but it just says to contact support. See attached image.
I presume if I deactivate, I won’t lose any settings I’ve already created using these plugins will I? If so, is it possible to keep my existing licence keys and you extend their use at your end to cover my new 6 months subscription?
Not sure if I’ve done the right thing here by making my previous post private.
Could someone please get back to me on my original question.
