Argh! No idea when I would have done that. Thanks, I was pulling my hair out testing everything I could think of and still couldn’t get it working.

    Hi

No, the maps don’t work in the listing page either. The lists show up, search works. If you search for perth a couple of dummy listings show up.

Did you find out why your category top descriptions disappeared suddenly and did you get them back? The same thing happened to my site and I’m trying to get them back – it seemed to happen around the same time so I’m assuming it’s some update that’s broken something.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo

I’ll create you an admin account to have a look. How do I send these privately? Does the Set as private reply button only allow you to view these?

In the meantime I’ll get the advanced search plugin from theme tailors.

    Thanks

Hu Guust – I’ve cleared geo-location settings and tried in a multitude of different browsers and it doesn’t work on any. I don’t have the Advanced Search add-on, do you need this for the ‘Near me’ widget to work?

Paolo – I’ve deactivated all other plugins and tested and it still comes up with the error. Have you got any other suggestions? If not I could send you my admin details.

I’ve installed the geo plugin and the directory framework theme too. I’m trying to change some of the hardcoded text but it seems built into the geo plugin so I can’t override it in my child theme.

The places i’m trying to change are bits like on the listing page where it lists the tags. I want to change ‘Place Tags:’ to something like ‘Services’ and ‘Related Listings’ to ‘Similar Services’

Is this possible and if so, how would I go about this?

Also I’ve added some icons to my Place Tags using Advanced custom fields but without editing the actual geo plugin, I assume I won’t be able to insert them in instead of the actual tag names?
