Brilliant. This custom CSS solved my problem also. Appreciated.
Hi Stiofan
Re 1, Great 🙂
re 2, yes, it always worked for me, but was interrupted by the message in both Firefox and Safari. After the message cleared, the search completed successfully. I have just tried this again on both Safari and Firefox. Now I get different behaviour. With a known name in search, and a space in Near, a different error message appears (see below) saying ZERO_RESULTS, and the search does not complete?
re 3, the Firefox error was in the same circumstance as the Safari (space in Near)
re 4, you know better than I. But I was just assuming that, in this case, it was only the space that was the problem
Thanks for your help StiofanHi Stiofan
Not sure that new error message is better? Four reasons.
1. Surely it would be better to just clear (or ignore) a lone space character in the near search terms input field. I thought that abandoned space character, by itself, was the cause of the error.
2. And it wasn’t really an error, as the search worked fine once past the pop up box. If I didn’t get the pop up error message, all would be fine.
3. I got an error message with Firefox also!
4. Finally, an error about a major browser being incompatible may not be the best look for your product?See attached
OK. This might be promising?
I can repeat the error. If I enter a space in the near search terms, then press enter, the error occurs. Its seems not to on the main search criteria. You can enter new text in the main search, but the error (and the space in the near search box) persists.
I think this might help 🙂 Perhaps code clearing a null text (or space) search in both boxes?Hi
Im getting this error pop up box also, in both Safari and Firefox (though in Firefox it pops up briefly then clears itself and continues, in Safari I have to click OK). After this, the search completes well. I am using the latest versions of everything.
You can try this at http://aseeds.com.au/business/processor/ Ive searched for ‘hendy’ (one of our processors), received the error message, in safari been asked if I want to ignore further messages from this page (not selected), and been given the successful result. I can provide screenshots if that would help
Any suggestions welcome
Ta Paolo
Thats working now.
I need to know if there are any special circumstances if you are using a Multisite version of WordPress.
Specifically, I have activated WPGeo and the various sub plugins I use on the base site because updates weren’t occurring to WPGeo plugins that were activated on sub sites. As you know, plugins in a MultiSite are only updated in the Network Admin area, but Plugins like WPGeo aren’t accessible there. The Main Domain of the site usually acts as the default site for such plugins.
But updates aren’t happening automatically, even though I have entered the licence keys in both the main site, and active sub site.
I can manually update the plugins through cPanel File functionality, i.e., manually.
I dont want to globally activate all WPGeo plugins as I dont want it running on every site. And I dont know if this would make any difference to Autoupdate anyway.
I wouldn’t mind if you had left the buttons active to allow update of a plugin, as the Network Admin Plugin area clearly shows that an update is available, but then also states that automatic update isn’t available! Catch 22.
So, can you please advise how I am to manage this? Can you consider reinstating the standard everywhere manual update button as an option? Thanks
GaryAny developments on this? Thanks
Hi
Ive just had an enquiry from a client interest in a Real Estate style site 🙂 Should I just get on with it, or is the timeframe for the Real Estate child theme worth waiting for (its probably 6 to 8 weeks timeframe if the client proceeds)?
Thanks for a great product -
