    Ah Lads… That’s Mad Ted!

Can you not design a master key for a particular site?

    Kind regards,

    Stuart

Isn’t the point of having us buy into the subscription model that we are buying into one bucket, not a bucket for each plug-in? It is really, really confusing. There are two licenses pages, each with different license codes, and not a good way to tell which one is what we should be using.

There has got to be a better way forward.

If nothing else, at least a better understanding of what you are trying to do and where it is going. Some of us need this in order to keep you as an option.

I’m a huge fan and I’m using your theme and plugins on some of my Whiskey Trail sites.

My subscription is up for renewal next week, but unfortunately, this could be a deal breaker I’m afraid. I just don’t have time to manually cut and paste 25 licence keys per site.

    Kind regards,

    Stuart

Hi Powerboat, same for me. Up for renewal this month and with over 30+ sites, it is unreal and for subscription members should not be this way. For me it is also deal breaker.
I am switching already some sites over to Mobile directories, first of their kind and with GPS and Geo enabled. Little more costly but less hassle. Have to see, maybe fo one more term with GD
Enough work with all the wordpress and extra plugins for updates, but enter couple of hundreds license keys is not effective workload

    Hi Guys,

This is a standard practice, we did not build this system, it is one of the most popular systems for selling pluings for WordPress.. The system works the way it is now but i hear your concerns with having lots of sites, i will have a chat with the people who make the system and see if they have any suggestions, but this is not something that will happen straight away.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Is your goal to become an Envato and be licensing lots of individual products, or a subscription service where you have a turn-key, all-inclusive package model? Or, are you trying to envision doing both? I can see where you are caught in a mess of trying to accomplish the benefits of both, but the problem is that the transition period becomes frighteningly more complicated, if we don’t know where you are going or how you are planning to get there.

    Thanks Stiofan,

Appreciate the quick reply. While we may sound critical, I think our intention is to give you honest feedback as people who like and buy your product.

    Kind regards,

    Stuart

I need to know if there are any special circumstances if you are using a Multisite version of WordPress.
Specifically, I have activated WPGeo and the various sub plugins I use on the base site because updates weren’t occurring to WPGeo plugins that were activated on sub sites. As you know, plugins in a MultiSite are only updated in the Network Admin area, but Plugins like WPGeo aren’t accessible there. The Main Domain of the site usually acts as the default site for such plugins.
But updates aren’t happening automatically, even though I have entered the licence keys in both the main site, and active sub site.
I can manually update the plugins through cPanel File functionality, i.e., manually.
I dont want to globally activate all WPGeo plugins as I dont want it running on every site. And I dont know if this would make any difference to Autoupdate anyway.
I wouldn’t mind if you had left the buttons active to allow update of a plugin, as the Network Admin Plugin area clearly shows that an update is available, but then also states that automatic update isn’t available! Catch 22.
So, can you please advise how I am to manage this? Can you consider reinstating the standard everywhere manual update button as an option? Thanks
    Gary

@pieterravelli Your issue is similar to the issue we faced earlier with another user. Can you give us the following details?

Network admin login credentials, Cpanel credentials and/or ftp credentials

    Thanks
