Yes I actually deactivated the license. Re entered the license and re activated it. Thought that might burp it.
I’ll send login
I will read all the new documentation etc. Just on a deadline this weekend.
Do you have any ideas why the extensions are generating errors?
Do I need to manually load them from the Geodirectory members area?

So in v1 we have this
GD Home page
This is the home page for your GeoDirectory. You tell GeoDirectory which page is the GD Home at GD > Permalinks > GD Home.
Some GeoDirectory themes with links to “home” will redirect users to this page, even if it is not set as your WordPress static home page.
You can set WordPress > Reading > Static Front Page to this same page, if you want your GeoDirectory page to also be the front page of your site. You can also use a different pages for your WordPress Front Page and the GD Home. Some members choose to use different pages so they can create a customized Front Page with a builder and add specific widgets or shortcodes that are not display on the GD Home and Location pages. But in v2 there isn’t a GD Home page?
So set a WP page to be the home page and just add the widgets we need? But there isnt a GD home template we need to use anymore. Is that right?
Why was the GD home page template eliminated?
This stuff is not so clear to us non-deep coders.

HI Alex
I’m sorry this still isn’t making sense- my lack of understanding, but I think I’m getting there.
But I realize this is the first time I”m buiding WPgeodirectory as a sub page and not the whole website itself. Haven’t done it before.
I am starting with a wordpress install.
The home page there will be the home page.
I’m adding Geodirectory and want one of the Navigation elements to be DIRECTORY and that goes to The designated main GD landing page.
I’m also adding woocommerce – so that will be a nav element for STORE, etc.
Woo creates its pages, so I understand that.SO if a customer clicks on the navigation to the directory, I’m assuming that should be a location page that geolocates for them. Is that what I should be thinking?
Makes sense. The visitor clicks on directory, and the page is “location” so it geolocates to their location.
is that how I should be thinking? The last directory I did was the whole site. So that was easier.
for example
Add-ons for V2 currently in BETA or RCWhat is RC?
