Guust sorry thanks one mroe please
If I”m not going to use a Geodirectory theme, I can use v2 with shortcodes, I believe.
Is that still correct? If which will run wordpress 5 I could test v2 since I’ll be using shortcodes I think.
I’ll test it.
Thanks!
MarkI’m talking about a normal image slider. LIke Rev Slider, or plain old big image at top. you know.
Not the map.December 14, 2018 at 12:08 am in reply to: MY first PAID Web Development project using WPGeodirectory #458440ok I don’t need to use v2 –
I’ll stick with Modern because I don’t want to learn Supreme.
It’s not the look I’m going for and find that Modern does that better.I tried Supreme before I did my superseo directory and found it hard to work with.
Sorry to say that, but it’s just feedback.THanks!

But GDF Modern will work with WP5 right?
I don’t need to reinvent the workflow I already have to learn a new theme.
Just need to decorate it more.I’ll try Supreme
Thanks!
MarkHI Alex!
I didn’t fully explore the location setup. I can do the seo I need there.
We’re focuesed on a state by state basis and United states only.
So I’m not sure if the slug is correct, but it needn’t include united statesFor the location pages, are they customizeable via widget? Or are they a template unto themselves?
I want to customize them with specific copy and images, but not sure if that’s widgetable. This reply has been marked as private.OmG how simple.
Guys thanks sorry for the trouble.I like that I”m getting good at working with WPGEODIRECTORY, and you guys are the best.
THanks!!So if we want to have like the entire state of FLorida we need multilocations, because if we don’t its going to default to One city?
Ok great, I thought you only needed multilocations if it was a different country.
HI wow I didn’t think I touched it.
Let me take a lookThis reply has been marked as private.Hi ALex
Yep they do, I needed to disable the UMP (select none) and also remove the shortcode.
Got it sorted, working fine now.
Thanks all!!Do we really need userswp if we aren’t going to build a user back end and just let them edit their listings?
AHHHAHAAAAA
The userwp was hijacking it.
aha.
Sorry!but the login page has no code in the post- is it just that you created a new page and assigned the permalink to that and it automatically adds both boxes?
Sorry this stuff is very confusing.
I love this plugin but not all of us have the higher order php understanding.
It’s not really simple.HI Kor
Exactly!
How did you do it? I’d love to know so next time I don’t have to bother you.
But Perfect! -
