Actually, ignore that last post. I have just found some Link Post Settings for address, website and phone fields. However, it does not work. On the Add Listings Page, I see the field and enter a place, but the two arrows just constantly go round in a circle without populating any of the fields.
I received the latest CPT update today, but this function (much needed) is still not available. Do you have a snippet I can use in the meantime please?
Ok. That’s great Kiran. Thanks, Gary
I have link posts set on my Add Event Listing page, but it does not auto-populate the address field. Has this update happened or shall I wait a little longer to see this feature? Thanks, Gary
Hi Naveen,
That’s great. Thanks very much for solving this problem. I’m pleased it is in the next update.
Very best wishes, Gary
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks very much for this Stiofan. I gave it a go (and I included the tags in the array string) but couldn’t get it to work.
No problem, I’ll just use the standard setting for each individual page. The only reason I wanted to be able to put this in a gloabl sidebar is to give myself options in the future for redesign/new customisations etc. Having individual pages (that will grow substantially over time) will be a pain to edit, but it’s not a huge problem.
Thanks for trying. It would be nice if in the future we can use tags such as %%post_title%% in other areas of the site like we can in the address field for GD-Post Address.
Best wishes, Gary

Hi Alex,
Many thanks for this. The images do now appear on my archive item pages but still missing on the actual individual listing page.
However, I have been doing some further trouble-shooting and I think you are right about the Lazy Loading. It was actually turned off (in Avada, WP Rocket and SG Optimiser). I have now deactivated WP Rocket and SG Optimiser. And I have turned on Lazy Loading in Avada. Now (nearly) all the images are showing in the archive and on individual listings pages. After further investigation I have found that the only images now missing (with Avada Lazy Load turned on) are those images that are 200px wide (or well).
They actually generate a Geodirectory PHP Error:
Plugin: geodirectory

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex,
Yes, the images that are showing (frontend) have the following link address:
https://www.xxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01
https://www.xxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02
https://www.xxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03 etcThe images that are not showing have the following type of addresses:
https://www.xxx.com/places/200w (frontend on the archive page)
https://www.ipohgo.com/places/600w
https://www.ipohgo.com/places/720wOne the actually listings (GD Detail) page, the image link address is this type:
https://www.ipohgo.com/places/ [LISTING POST TITLE] /200wI have disabled all plugins except Geodirectory (and I deactivated all the remaining Geodirectory extensions). But the images were still missing.
I also changed the theme to the wordpress Twenty-Twenty, but again the images are not showing.
I’m completely baffled. All the images are definitely in the wp-content/uploads/ folder but the ones that are showing these strange links are also not appearing in the Media Library. I’m confused as it is totally random.
Many thanks Alex.
I managed to resolve the problem and its root was my fault! Sorry.
I mistakenly believed that if I only wanted to use Geocoding (in the admin and add listings page), I only needed the second Google API, so I removed the first API code. Obviously I was wrong. I have now added Google API (No.1) and used the snippet code included on the webpage you cited.
Now it works great! Thanks very much Alex.
Best wishes, Gary
Fantastic! It works very well. Thank you so much Naveen. Best wishes, Gary
Hi Guust, I should have mentioned in my initial post that I had already tried that. The problem is I use a <br> in my title to separate English/Malay from the Chinese title. Many businesses here use two languages. The <br> worked with Post-title but not post_meta. I have WPML as well but I wanted the the title to be in English or Malay & Chinese on each page.
Anyway, I have decided to have two fields now:
Title (English or Malay) &
Title (Chinese)I have then added both these titles as ‘post-meta’ at the top of the GD Detail page and it has worked. So, I found a workaround. It is probably better to separate them anyway.
Thanks for your help. All resolved now :-). Cheers, Gary
Wonderful! Thank you so much! Cheers Gary
