Ok, I see where there may be confusion. To clarify, the title I’m talking about is the ‘page title’, not the meta title. The actual word location that appears as an h1 at the top of the page. Here’s our stage site to clarify; http://photographer1.staging.wpengine.com/location/
The word ‘location’ you see on the page, not the meta title.
That word needs to update based on the location. This should be super simple to accomplish.
March 6, 2019 at 3:47 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472984And how should I customized the template if that’s what I do for now? And which template?
March 6, 2019 at 3:46 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472983I understand that it’s using the default way. What settings in “your Meta and Title” are you speaking of? Please be clear… we’re wasting time going in circles here my man. Can you do this or not?
March 5, 2019 at 10:03 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472772Thank you, please do. I see how I could do it manually with the location description widget and the seo settings for the location, but that’s not a task we’re interested in and this should be simple to set up dynamically like the other fields. Thx, let me know please!
March 4, 2019 at 11:06 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472474We are using V1.
Ok, I’ve read that and still don’t understand. I had deleted the location page and now just created a new one. So I guess I need to reload the one that comes with the original install to see if what I’m talking about is available. Is that possible?
If not, can you just clarify for me, can we fix that title for each location page so it doesn’t say ‘Location’? And how do we do it?
March 4, 2019 at 10:14 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472464Hey, so follow up on this. We’re needing to start using the Location page, but how do we set the page title to change from the world ‘Location’ to whatever page they are on? It’s not accepting the short codes. We need to have that part of the seo settings ideally in the location manager, but none of those current fields work. Thx!

March 4, 2019 at 7:29 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #472429Ok, thanks. How do we set it up to display the location page listings based on the page they are on. Isn’t there a simple short code to put in the location page to show all listings depending on page you are on, for instance, location/united-states/alabama/ shows all alabama listings? I don’t see anything on this page that works like that? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/
Thanks, will check it out!
Hello,
Sorry for the delay, our support membership has been renewed. Can you check this out for us? It was working before, so it may be our error, but I can’t discern. Thanks!Tom
I had added to the functions, but maybe the cache hadn’t cleared. Thx!!
here’s a page as an example;

this isn’t working?
