Hi Maria, if you want users to post listings without an address, create a CPT, and then go to GD > General > General tab > Select CPT to disable physical location
Probably the search computes that you are looking for listings within 40 miles or so from the center of Lagos in Nigeria, and cannot find listings.
Please review how the search works: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#howIf you want support for a site with the Location Manager, please login with your account that has an active membership for that addon. Thanks.
First, you have to merge db-language.php with /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-languages/geodirectory-en_US.po as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/
Then you update /wp-content/languages/geodirectory-it_IT.po as explained in https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
You are first adding the custom field to the Italian PO file and then you are asking to compare with the English PO file that has no custom fields, in other words you are asking the Italian file to match the English file which has no custom fields, so it deletes them.
I cannot really think of any other way than what I described earlier.
The extra things you describe would be a complex customization.September 22, 2016 at 9:30 am in reply to: Looking to show a drop down of event categories only with location input field #271017Do you mean you want help with the Advanced Search addon? See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#filter
Or you got something else in mind?
The detail page can be modified to some extent for different CPTs, it just depends what changes you have in mind.
All templates can be changed, but all CPTs use the same template, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make any other changes.Hi Daniel, I sent you an email. Thanks.
If you want your site to be in more than one language, you will need the WPML plugin. The translations themselves are not done automatically, but the translation files will allow visitors to switch languages.

Supreme is a child theme of Directory Starter, not GeoDirectory Framework.
Most changes to the sidebar of the detail page can be made at GD > Design > Detail tab.
If you want to modify the template, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/Hi Ricky, I am guessing you turned of the map at GD > Design > Map tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
Post your admin details in a private reply if that does not fix it and we will have a look. Thanks
You can have a default image for listings, but not categories:
GD > Design > Listings tab > Upload listing no imageDefault icon:
GD > Design > Map tab > Upload map default marker iconHi, can you have a look at this post:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/post-map/Let me know if you still got any questions after reviewing that post.
At GD > Place settings > Address custom field, enable the address on the Listings pages.
Option 3 explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#showLet us know how you went. Thanks.
