You can add them from the backend or import by CSV without a description, but not from the frontend.
So when the listings are claimed, they will need to add a description. Will that solve your issue?I get 404 every time I try to access your admin.

Without URLs there is little we can do. You can post them in a private reply if you like.Any reason why you renamed the geodir_buddypress folder to geodir_buddypress-off?
FTP details are not working.
The menu is working, it is just that your CSS puts the drop down menu underneath the map.
I’m struggling to find the CSS, I’ll ask the others for some help. There is no need to add any cities, they are added as listings are added.
Cities without any listings will not show in the drop down.
Are you using a caching plugin? ThAlso, you have the GD Home Gmap widget on the search page; you should use the GD Listings Gmap widget on the search page.
Can you post your WP admin details in a private reply so we can investigate more?
There is another plugin (or your theme) calling the Google Maps API, and that is the problem.
I cannot find which plugin it is without disabling them, so try de-activating them one by one until you find it.You will need the Payments and Prices addon for that. Then listings can be featured or not, as per Kor’s image, and then you sort or filter listings by featured in the widgets on the homepage.
You have 2 categories of the same CPT.
Your solution indeed would be to use the CPT addon, then you can really separate them quite well.Using the GD recaptcha addon would indeed solve that problem.
Recaptcha is normally not for logins, only registration. Best to stop registering them in the first place, then there is no need to add it to the login page.Did you also update GD core to 1.6.2?
You should not use any caching plugin other than GD Booster, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-caching-plugin-can-i-use/
So I turned that off.You set the Listing URL prefix as location, which is the same slug as the location page.
You set the wrong page for the GD home page, i fixed it, seehttps://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
Please check and let us know. Thanks.
You’re welcome 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
I am guessing you have 2 custom post types: business and community.
Both should only show up in location or search pages, but they should not mix on category pages unless you add widgets.
Can you please clarify with URLs to your site, so we can help you better.
You can post those URLs in a private reply. -
