You need the Location Manager addon if you want to add listings outside your default location:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/You have to include “Event” at GD > design > navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend [I have fixed it for you].
1. That drop down automatically comes there if you have more than one CTP (custom post type), for example if you have Places and Events.
2. Go to GD > Design > Search
If you would use the Social Importer with an existing listing, it would overwrite the content of the listing, and that is not a good idea.
I am guessing your listings are in a CTP only, but not in a category:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/dos-and-donts/If you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, we can check your settings.
We would need your URL to be able to inspect the code, and possible WP admin details too.
You might be able to solve it yourself: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/Maybe you have to use
.geodir-viewall {display: none !important;}Without your URL and admin details we cannot check.
All listings includes all listings 🙂
If people only want to search listings near them, they should use the search function.
If you can share your URL we can explain better based on your site.April 15, 2016 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Unable to use License Keys with purchase on WordPress #163749Thanks for letting us know.
No need to double post. I answered here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/map-and-registration-box
You can remove the maps anywhere you like. They are just added with widgets.
But I don’t know what theme you use and what type of page you are talking about.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directoryThe maps all automatically show the listings that are called by the page. It depends whether you are looking at a category or a location or one listing only.
You cannot get directions on the detail page if you remove the map.
It would be a lot easier if you give us a link of a page that you are talking about. We have to guess what you mean, so we might give you the wrong answer.
Have a check of your location settings at GD > Multilocations.
Post your URL and WP Admin details in a private reply if we need to have a look. Thanks for letting us know.
1. That might be how Supreme works. Let’s ask Paolo.
2. Every category has its own page: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#listings
