503 suggests it is server related.No idea how that could be achieved, that is not saying it can’t be done. I suggest you search the internet and see if it is possible; this is outside support. Thanks.
I guess you could use CSS to move the search up enough to make it look like it is on the slider, with a negative top margin. You will need to make sure that you target the pages with the slider only [not tested or tried].
Yep, every category can have its own marker.
The GD search can only be used as a widget or a shortcode.
If you have a widget area in the header, then you can add it there. All depends on the theme you use.

Go to Places (or other CPT) and then Places Categories.
Edit the markers of the categories.Or GD > Design > Map > Upload map default marker icon

Your child theme does not even have a functions.php file. That is where you should add it.

Location is the GD Home page at GD > Design and in the widgets section; so it has the ability for the different sections.

Have you added Events to Post Types allowed to be submitted at GD > Design > Navigation?
It’s all there. Create a page, select that page at WP Settings > Reading (Lesen) > Posts page (Beitragsseite) and start adding posts.
No need for anything else.
