The category/listings map does not have any checkboxes, I guess you are talking about the Home/Location map. You should not use the GD Home Map widget on GD Listings pages, but you need to use the GD Listings map.
On the home/location map, you can de-select categories.

And it all depends where you want the code.Yes, you can, but only if you change all URLs in the database. It is not good enough to only change the WP settings in admin.
Changing directory is much the same as changing domain alltogether.WordPress removes iframe html tags because of security reasons.
