A browser will know if your site want to geo-locate and will ask, regardless of your GD settings.
You cannot change the browser settings of your visitors either. You need to add the full HTML code, like this
<img src="/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/your-image.jpg" alt="Whatever" />Add the image to a draft post, and you’ll see what code you need in the “text” tab of the editor.
URL and admin details please.
Because the price of a franchise is set to zero, saving will not take it to the payment page.
Saving it twice will not create two listings, but it will add an extra year to the listing.
Not sure why a new franchise get double the period added. It depends what homepage you are using.
Add it in a text widget if using a GD Location page, or in the content if you are using a WP page.Indeed, I do not mind you fixing it 🙂 Thanks for letting us know.
Thanks for letting us know.
If you export the listings, have a look at the difference between the two types.
I suspect something to do with a price package that is set to expire.Post your URL and admin details and any other relevant info in a private message if we need to have a look.
You wrote “We sometimes gets prompted to ALlow the site to now our location and other times we don’t.”
So that is why I suggested to look at your settings at GD > Advanced Search.Actually, this is your main category page: http://www.colombiaaquiya.com/restaurantes/
When setting up a price package with a limited time, you can set what happens on expiry. You would set it to downgrade to a lower package where the minimum is shown only.
The map does not show on the category pages because you did not add a map to the top section of the GD Listings pages, I fixed that for you.
The reason you see the footer temporarily while the page loads is because the page does not load fast enough it seems.
There are some errors on your detail pages like this one:
http://www.colombiaaquiya.com/restaurantes/united-states/new-york/new-rochelle/hotels/chestnut-hill-hotel/These plugins seem to give conflicts:
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP – I suggest you use the GD > Google Analytics Settings
MailChimp Forms by MailMunch
What is not working exactly? It looks like you have no events yet.
Please post your admin details in a private reply so we can have a look.Which package are you trying to remove? If there are any listings with that package, you will get some issues most likely. You can always edit or de-activate a package too, but not a good idea if there are existing listings on that package.
No, that is not possible. Dates and the search by date function etc can only be added to one CPT and that is the Events type CPT.
Any particular problem you see with using a new category instead of a CPT?Good to hear !
There is only 3 places where (in your case) can add CSS:
Scripts tab in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=design_settings
Quick code at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=_options
Child theme stylesheet at /wp-admin/theme-editor.phpNone of these would be affected by any updates.
The child theme stylesheet will be replaced if you change themes, but that does not seem to be the case.So there is nothing I can suggest really.
Your geolocation settings are at GD > Advanced Search.
The Restaurant page will be at yoursite.com/custom-post-type-slug/restaurant-category-slug, like http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/
To charge for featured listings, you need to activate the Prices and Payments Addon.
You can find shortcodes here to add to your WP pages: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
You cannot create a page where you can pick and choose a map and listings. But every location and every category have their own pages by default. It might be possible to some extent to create your custom page, but it all depends on exactly what you want to achieve.
Always add URLs so we can see what you mean.
Also post your WP admin details in a private message, then we can have a look at your settings. You can only have one Events type CPT. But you can have different categories of course.
