I do not know why you modified the buddypress.php file, so I cannot tell you. Just delete the file from your child theme to restore the default Whoop theme.
October 21, 2015 at 2:02 pm in reply to: Help, can't get WPML and Geodirectory to work together #57666Thanks for letting us know. If all problems were this easily solved 🙂
None of the listings you pasted into the database have a connection to a price package etc, so they corrupt the system.
I trashed the incorrect places, so that CPT works again.
You will need to do the same with Acommodation and Hospitality.IN future, export a CSV file, update and add listings with all the required data, and import.
That is really not the way to import listings. You really should use the CSV import. Just adding some data in the database does not create the correct connections between all the tables.
Post your WP admin and we’ll have a look. We might also need your database details, ie phpMyAdmin.
October 21, 2015 at 11:11 am in reply to: when user publish his listing it Redirect to homepage #57657Can you post your WP admin details in a private reply?
I cannot figure this one out, all I can suggest is to de-activate non-GD plugins and see if it is one of them that mucks while we wait for Paolo to have a look.
Your Add Listing page is re-directing to your BP activity page …You have modified the buddypress.php file in your child theme and added the page sidebar to it, that is why it does add it.
Your’re welcome 🙂

I was not able to add 2 images using the frontend Add Listing form, and I cannot see the video field.
Did you try in a different browser after clearing caches? They are using the same page template. Have you tried?
URL and WP admin details if you cannot get it to work, please. With the Custom Post Type addon, you can rename Place to Business easily.
To add listings in locations outside your default city, you need to activate the MultiLocations addon (Location Manager).Let us know how you went.
October 20, 2015 at 10:12 pm in reply to: Map Showing "Outside Our Area" and Remove Map from Client View #57615Allyson, you normally have a Map widget at Appearance > widgets > GD Home Section.
And that is where you would change the widget settings.
But you are not adding widgets that way (which is really the normal wordpress way of doing thing).
How are you adding the map to /directory/ ?Hi Brian, we will need to have your URL and WP admin details in a private message to have a look for you.
First check your GD pages at GD > GD Tools.
And then check if they are connected correctly at GD > Permalinks.
Are you allowing users to add listings? GD> design > navigation ? -
