You should not use normal WP pages to use at the GD permalink settings.
The only page to use for the homepage of GD is the location page generated by GD. I suggest to delete the new page you created, and run GD > GD Tools to fix your location page.
Then use that page again for the location in GD permalinks. If still stuck after this, post your URL and admin details in a private reply, and we will have a quick look.
For the first question, have a look here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
The first option (List drilled-down Regions, Cities) will narrow the list of regions or cities, depending of the choices mad by your visitors.I’ll get Paolo to look at your second question.

Delete the AffiliateWP Integration addon using FTP and all should be fine.Just changing the URLs where you did, does not change all references in the database.

Setting “Post Content excerpt character count” to zero in the widget should make the Read more link disapppear.
If you want it to read differently, you can change it in the language file.Hi Dale, adding this to your CSS should fix it:
.geodir_full_page {clear: both;}Let us know if it worked.
I have no idea why this only happens to you.
If I delete the tags from the backend and then choose them again, all goes well.
If I add them myself to a new listing, I never get your error.
Somehow your tags are getting the database ID instead of the slug of the tag.
I suspect this is one of your other plugins interfering; try de-activating the other plugins and see if the problem persists. But at the same time, why does it only happen to you?
Have you tried using a different admin account, and/or browser?I have split this from https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/categories-and-viewing-listing-defaults/
1. To organize categories alphabetically, you can apply the code here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/categories-and-viewing-listing-defaults/#post-46808
Let us know if you need a hand with that.
You do NOT need to use the “popular category” widget.
Your map on the home/location page will show categories alphabetically in the map legend, see http://miamiwaterfrontexperts.com/location/
You can change the title used on your website from “popular category” to “categories with most listings” or whatever at the widget.2. Listings are not placed by ID order. You set the order at “Place settings” or in your widgets.
If you want your listings alphabetically, sort them by title:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
The problem you describe is only a problem if you use the “popular category” widget (which is optional, see above), and if you do not apply the code to list them alphabetically.3. Applying the code as per above is easier than changing the ID codes.
4. Categories are not structured by the number of listings in them. Only the “popular category” widget uses that sorting. Most people use the map to show their listings, rather than the “popular category” widget, and the map will show all listings in all categories.
5. See above.
6. The code cannot be applied in a widget. The code needs to be added to your child theme’s functions.php.
I hope things are a bit clearer.
You might be better off to export and re-import: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#import
And clean up your cities (before exporting, then you will not have to do them again): https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/This reply has been marked as private.Have you followed the instructions at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
Can you post your URL and admin details in a private reply please, then we can have a quick look. -
