The only way to do that is for your users to use the location switcher, if they want to know the listings in london while they are in Paris, AND you want to be able to concentrate on featured listings. That allows you to add the popular post widget to the home/location page and to order the listings by featured first, and even to show only featured listings.
Anything else would be a customization. You can add it to the request list here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
or list a job at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/forum/geodirectory-jobs/You do not need the PO file for the translation to work. I just added it there so you can download it. Somehow your MO file was not working, it was not prepared correctly or something. Anyway, all good now. I’ll set this to resolved.
GD > permalinks > replace “places”
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#urlRemove the link to the listings in your menu at GD > design > navigation
Then add a custom link in Appearance > menusLet us know how you went.
Done.
I replaced your MO and PO file with a proper one. I don’t know how you created it (did you use poEdit?) but it did not work. Please check.July 30, 2015 at 10:30 am in reply to: Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again. #47507You need to use the location switcher, you are stuck in a location without knowing it.
The switcher will show you where you are.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#locationIs it OK if I turn off all your non-GD plugins? I can see you re-activated them.
What URL issue do you have?
We do not provide support for customised installations, so I’d be interested what you are trying to change. Is en_US the language of your site?
Make sure to set the language at WP Settings > general > Site LanguageIf all fails, send us URL and admin, AND FTP details.
Can you post a link of a page where you don’t see the map; I cannot find any such page.
Or do you mean the location pages? You do not have a map widget on the home/location page …For the location switcher, you will need to translate the multilocation language files.
Translate label Country, Region, City in geodirlocation-en_US.po. Create geodirlocation-en_US.mo and copy it in wp-content/languages/geodirlocation/geodirlocation-en_US.mo
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/For the labels you translate them in the custom fields settings.
Change those labels from the backend in GD >> Place settings >> Address field
Just open it and you will find the option to change Country / Region / City labels.URL and WP admin details please, and your password for the forum here.
You can post that in a private reply. You are having a plugin conflict.
De-activate all plugins until you find which one it is.We will need admin details.
I am guessing your settings at
GD > navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend:
are preventing users to update.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigationCan you post your URL and admin details in a private reply, so we can have a look for you?
