Email sent to you.
That’s a new one to me. Thanks, Simone.
Check this out:
wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/how-to-disable-ratings/That is the demo for the Sky theme:
http://themeforest.net/item/sky-wordpress-listings-theme/10061836So I guess if you abandon X theme and use the Sky theme which is specifically built for GD, you should have your issue solved?
Works fine when I try at http://vapestores.com/
February 24, 2015 at 11:53 am in reply to: Automatically disabling map location on inaccurate addresses #31856I doubt very much this is possible at all, but let’s ask Paolo.
Maybe there is a possibility if you reserve a special category for them, and then filter the detail page for that category.February 24, 2015 at 11:42 am in reply to: How do I change/edit the categories displayed in detail sidebar? #31854To show the categories in the sidebar of the detail page:
GD > Place (CPT) Settings > custom fields > Field:category (taxonomy) > Show in sidebar > YES.
When it comes to coding, you are obviously smarter than me 🙂Make sure your WP permalinks are set to postname/
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/#postnamesYou can use the translation file to output your funky image instead of the “no results” text.
Have a look here: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/
Content is between or next to the sidebars, and the bottom is at the bottom, so it is indeed intended to work like that.
You can move the sections srou in the template: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/customizing-geodirectory-templates/Setting as private reply allows only admins and whoever started the topic to view the message, so only you and GD admin staff can see the details.
Activate the Claim Listing addon. You’ll see one of the settings is to show as Verified Owner when claimed.
Your style.css of your main theme has this code:
#respond {display: none;}That’s why it does not show.
I can’t fix it because of your multisite.
Can you confirm what settings you have at GD > Permalinks? Are you including full location info with country, region and city slug in listing urls?
Paolo, is this something you can check? I do not have an active FB set up in my test site.
This seems similar to a bug ages ago, that would send links for new listings to admin using the default location. You can redirect the unfriendly URLs to a friendly one using https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
You could use tags if you add them yourself to every listing and do not allow your users to add any.
I’ll hand over to Paolo for your other questions:
1. Is there a way to use this same custom field on multiple custom post types?
2. Is there anyway to add an extra field to locations so you can have continent-country-region-city? -
