    Thanks Vikas for putting me right.
    I since had a test and now see what the trouble is. Glad you picked it up 🙂

    1. In Pricing you can choose which categories are available for free listings. Setting that combined with allowing only one category to be picked should solve that? I don’t think you can be in a child category without being in the parent category.

    2. No, see above.

    3. Have you tried the different settings for category display type in gd > place settings > custom fields > categories ( taxonomy)

    Thanks Josh for sharing. I’ll flag this to be looked at to prevent that in the future.

    Hi Dara
    1. I guess Programs & Shools is your (renamed) custom post type.
    2. I guess the different programs are the categories of that custom post type.
    3. You can ony add custom npost types to the menu using GD navigation, for categories you need to use the WP built-in capabilities.
    4. GD is a plugin, not a theme. But you can use the GD framework as a theme.
    5. Users can create listings, and if you remove all of the Add options, they will not be able to add listings.
    6. Pages referred to as Listings pages are psges thst show listings in a category. A Detail page hss only one listing.
    7. Further documentation is on its way, for now follow the docs link in the footer and the addon descriptions from the addon menu above.

    Hope this helps for now, happy to help further if you get stuck.

    The map is not supposed to default to the default location. Default location is just to set up, without any location a map cannot work. Since you use multiple countries, regions and cities, the default location becomes obsolete.

    I have changed your setting that did not allow registration.
    I set your WP permalinks to postname.
    I deleted a blank location in multi-location.
    The majority if not all of your listings do not have a street address, so there is a database problem still.

    I’ll assign this to Paolo who has helped you before, he might be able to pinpoint the problem better.

    Have you chosen your menu in GD > design > navigation?

    Hi Handy, that is what you thought you meant 🙂

    Yes, we can help you with things that are beyond normal support at a fee; for example setting up your site so it is ready for you to go. The easiest for a case like that is that you describe as accurately what you try to achieve, so we can figure out which add-ons you need etc, and then we can price it.
    A fixed price for an agreed outcome takes away surprises for both parties.

    If I understand you right, there are a few options I can think of straight away.
    You can have one GD installation, and get administrators on board from other states. It is at that time you open that state open for submissions. The state administrator could promote and populate GD for that state, and you’d have to find a way to separate payments coming in from different states. Fairly simple: one site, one installation, but pages for different states cannot necessarily be modified – but everything would be in the same place.
    Another option is using WordPress multi-site, where every new state uses a clone of other states but operate like a separate site. There would need to be a site that just ties them together, so one GD map with links to the states, where you can then find the listings.
    Bit more complicated, and GD is not built for WP multi-site to keep its performance at top speed. But there might be some work-arounds, especially if the different states might not have thousands of listings. But this would allow for some differentiation between the sites – but you could not move between states using the map, because you would need to go to a different site.

    You could always start with the first option, and if things go well, you can re-consider.

    Just a few thoughts to get you thinking, and I might be able to fine-tune my thoughts as we go.

    Can’t find the solution, I’ll pass this on to Vikas to have a look.

    There does not seem to be any conflict with other plugins.

    When I tried to claim a listing, I was redirected to the home page, whereas the expected behaviour is that it stays on the page and gives me a notice that the submission was successful.
    Nothing arrived at admin in the Claim listings queue.

    In the language file of Review Rating Manager you will find:
    Rate this %s (overall):
    Rate this %s individually for:

    Translate that but leave the %s part of the language string.
    %s is replaced with the name of your Custom post type, for example Place, Event, Attraction etc.

    You need to translate Place in WP admin > GD > custom post types

    What theme are you using?
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Migrating_Plugins_and_Themes_to_2.7#Logout_from_Site

    Try switching to a plain theme like 2012 and test again.

    1. Do you get that also if logged in with another account than the admin? (use another browser to test)

    2. Don’t understand what is happening here. Is your site sending out other emails OK like registration and password emails?

    3. You cannot remove the Place CTP, but you can rename it. Do not rename the Post type.

    You might have to post your WP admin login details in a private message so we can investigate a bit further.

    width: 40% !important;
    height: 50px !important;
    }
    #geodir_advance_search-4 > form > div > div > div > input.snear {
    width: 40% !important;
    height: 50px !important;
    }
    #geodir_advance_search-4 > form > div > div > div > input.geodir_submit_search {
    width: 15% !important;
    height: 50px !important;
    float: right !important;
    }
