I only picked the correct theme, and created a homepage with a few blocks to get started, that’s all I did.
You need to set up a Google Map API key: GD > Settings > General tab. That will fix the missing map on the detail pages.
Select Whoop Home in the page attributes settings for the front page.
The theme that is selected is the one that says it is the active theme.
Whoop v2 is already a child theme for Directory Starter.
You cannot use a child theme of another child theme. Thanks
That is most likely because your Google Map API key is not authorised correctly: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/
Thanks
I cannot login either.
Have a look at GD > Settings > Locations tab > Show advanced > Enable location search autocompleter? > YESThanks

That should fix it.
You have this CSS that should not be there:.geodir-categories-container ul li .gd-cptcat-cat-right { position: absolute; }Or you could change it to:
.geodir-categories-container ul li .gd-cptcat-cat-right { position: initial; }See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/performance/#cache
Thanks
You need to choose Invoicing at GD > Settings > Pricing tab > Cart.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/#cartI switched to the V2 Whoop theme and set up some basics.
Let us know if you need help with anything else.
Thanks

July 14, 2019 at 11:47 am in reply to: Content and sidebar areas are missinf after upgrade to V2 #497583V2 is not like V1 and widgets are different.
I suggest you run the wizard to add some of the widgets:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/setup-wizard/V2 does not use a GD homepage: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/

If you have any addons installed, then first renew your membership to get support.
ThanksFrom https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.
This reply has been marked as private.1. No bare-bones/MVP installation procedure
I am guessing you are talking about V2 since you seem to be evaluating that.
The installation instructions are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/
But the simplest is to navigate to your Plugins page in your WP Admin area, and search for GeoDirectory on WordPress, activate and install. Then follow all the prompts.1.1. No idea what plugins and/or themes are interdependent without investigating deeper in each component
The only requirement for GD Addons is that you have the free GD core plugin installed.
GeoDirectory themes will not work without the free GD core plugin installed either.1.1.1. I’m still not entirely sure if Whoop requires theme ‘directory-starter’
Yes, the Whoop V2 theme is a child theme of Directory Starter V2.
Whoop is only recently updated for V2 and yes, we still need to do the documentation.
It also looks like this page is still due for a major update: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/whoop/If we need to check your settings, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will get you on the road.
