Locations are based on the Google Maps API, and the size of cities (towns, suburbs or villages etc depending on the country) can vary greatly from country to country. If Google treats a suburb as a different location [like it does in Australia for example], you will need the Location Manager.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#locationGeocoding on import does not always work, for example if an address is not recognized by Google.
I am not 100% sure if the free version geocodes, but you also need to make sure you added the geocoding API to your Google key.
I’ll get a developer to look at this question too. Thanks
If you do not want the switcher, you can change the shortcode in this file:
/wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/inc/geodirectory-compatibility.phpOn about line 590, you will find a gd_categories shortcode.
You will have to add one for each CPT you have. Thanks
Oops.
All I can think off is to turn of referer when you import.
That is the only time geocoding is required.
I never encountered that before.
I’ll get Kiran to confirm. This reply has been marked as private. That video is from V1.
Please explain what is not working for you, and post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, so we can check.
Also add any Facebook URLs you are trying to import.

That will show you how to add your data.
You don’t need latitude and longitude if your addresses are correct and your Google API is set up.
Unless you are using the Location Manager, all your listings need to be in the same city.
ThanksHave a look at Places > Settings > Custom fields.
ThanksJust add the apartment number to the street address field after setting the marker on the map.
ThanksJune 17, 2019 at 12:04 am in reply to: Geocoding, Importing and Google Maps API Restrictions #493294Many APIs can be added to one application or project.
Keys belong to the application, not the APIs.
You restrict applications by HTTP or IP, not APIs.
So restrict your application to your URL but do not restrict the APIs.June 17, 2019 at 12:04 am in reply to: Geocoding, Importing and Google Maps API Restrictions #493293Many APIs can be added to one application or project.

I can see that in FireFox, but not Chrome.
I’ll get the developers to look at that too.
