You can just un-tick
GD > Permalinks > Add location slug in listing urls

That will remove the location for detail pages.

You just need the image name with the extension, for example “pic.jpg”

Make sure to upload to /wp-content/uploads/2018/06

You are confusing CPTs and categories. See
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/

Any map can only show one CPT at the time, but can show all the categories of that CPT.

Add the address: GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields > Address custom field > Show in what location > Listings page
