I cannot replicate that on my test site, I’ll get a developer to have a closer look for you.
ThanksI just de-activated Redux, there is no need for it.
I also de-activated GD Booster, it gives errors with your maps, but I cannot find why.
I’ll get a developer to have a closer look for you. Thanks
I am guessing you are getting that message because you have the Redux plugin installed, which is not required. Which theme are you using? The GeoDirectory framework?
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if there is anything we need to check. Thanks
I am not sure why that happens on some sites, but not others; possibly theme issues or PHP versions.
I’ll set this to resolved. ThanksI have alerted Jeff for you. Thanks
I can see it now … and I can re-create that on my test site.
I’ll get the developers to have a closer look at that.
ThanksOk, try another one of these settings: GD Booster > To verify that GD Booster is working …
If that fails, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will check it out.
ThanksOops, my mistake, I thought that is how it worked.
We have asked for a developer to have a closer look for you.
ThanksTry de-activating GD Booster and re-activate.
Let us know.Let us know if you want a hand updating to the latest, it is not a problem, just let us know.
I know what you mean, but I’ll try to explain with an example.
1. Imagine Google changes its API, this happens all the time
2. That suddenly means that there are some sites that use Location Manager get errors
3. So we fix the new “bug” [thanks to Google 🙂 ]
4. But it also means that without an update to the GD core plugin, there will still be errors
5. So we fix the GD core plugin.
6. Result is that 2 updates are required, but if you only update 1 of the 2, the plugins do not work well together anymore. So therefore, you should always update everything or nothing. But then you may miss out on important security fixes or in case of the example above, things will no longer work, because the changes to the Google API cannot be ignored.
So let us know if you need a hand, and we’ll get you all up to date.
Thanks
That is the post widget area, see image.
ThanksThat should be how it works by default. If you set
GD > Design > Detail tab > Show as list > NO
then it will be tabbed on desktop and list on mobile. Thanks
Like Alex says, you are running the latest GD core plugin with a Location Manager that is very old; the current version is 1.5.62 and you are using 1.4.3.
The difference in that plugin is so big now, that it can only be updated using FTP or using https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easyOnce that is fixed, we can have another look if need be.
Thanks
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location
For every location in your database there will be a separate page created automatically
These locations are based on the Google Maps API, and the size of cities (towns, suburbs or villages etc depending on the country) can vary greatly from country to country.
Your locations need to be therefore always city > region > country, exactly like Google suggests when you add a listing from the frontend.
For example Los Angeles > California > Unites States [not LA > CA > US].Thanks
