    I guess you mean on the Add Listing page like shown in the image?
    That can only be changed with the language file.

    1. I never stated that I was struggling with page builders; I said I had created dummy pages while learning features of a couple of new page builders.

    I can see that your GD page layouts are a bit strange, and to me that looks like the result of using a page builder. Sorry if I misunderstood.

    I actually was forced to use GD’s widgets when creating pages that weren’t even there. For example, the location page was never created with the setup wizard so I had to hunt through documentation on what information was supposed to be on the location page and then create it myself using GD’s widgets and link it in the template/archive settings page.

    You can always run
    GD > Status > Tools tab > Create default GeoDirectory pages
    The default content is available when you click the “View default content” button
    GD > Settings > General tab > Pages sub-tab. See image 1.

    Another example of a page not automatically set up using the setup wizard, but with vague instructions on how to do so is: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/

    Creating WP pages is not GD specific, but let us know if there is anything GD related you need help with on your website’s homepage.

    Oops, I meant that you normally do not use UsersWP and Buddypress together.

    Again, when I attempted to edit template pages for UsersWP, instead of allowing me to edit the templates, I was instantly redirected to my own profile page and unable to edit it – every single time.

    You can only edit UsersWP pages following the links from the WP Admin area:
    usersWP > Pages > Edit the page you want.
    Do not try to open the Login or Register page on the frontend, it is not possible when logged in.

    Now I did ask questions that weren’t addressed (like proper menu items) and would still like answers to those, if you don’t mind.
    I’m not sure how to create menus and which pages to use as menu items or if I’m supposed to use copies of archive pages as menu links?

    You create menus at
    Appearance > Menus.
    You can add any page to the menu that you think should be there.
    You will find UsersWP and GD specific links in the UsersWP and GeoDirectory endpoint options, see image 2.
    Try changing the Avada options for the menu so you see easier what you added to the menu.
    Avada > Theme options > header content > Select a Header Layout

    As for restoring GD templates to default content, I never had properly formatted default content to begin with. I had to go hunting for what information was supposed to be in the templates and then add the missing content using GD widgets found in Avada’s elements or in Elementor’s list of widgets. Furthermore, I have absolutely no interest in the way the default pages appear as that most of the demos, though functional, are unsightly. The only demo that I found to have remotely attractive pages was in the Listimia demo. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but it appears as if the only way to make my site look similar to the Listimia demo or AirBnB is to use page builders like Avada or Elementor in combination with a CSS editor like CSS Hero or Microthemer or to hire one of your GD experts to do it for me – which I now wonder if was an intentional ploy all along.

    Please share URL and a screenshot of the exact part you want help with.
    We cannot guess the look you want, but we will help you achieve it.
    There is no need for page builders, that is your choice.
    Have you check the options in the shortcode builder?

    5. Another problem I’m experiencing is odd lines in places on the screen like on some buttons and bordering other areas like the “find us on Facebook” area of the footer (see pic attached).

    What image should I look at? URL please?

    15. You can export the listings, edit and re-import.
    GD > Settings > Export/Import

    You need to correct the listings data, by re-saving them after adding the required data.
    Without knowing what steps you took, I have no idea how data would have been lost.

    1. There is no need to use any page builder to make GD work correctly.
    It is simplest to just use the classic editor or gutenberg blocks on GD pages if you are struggling with page builders.

    2. You normally should not use UsersWP and UsersWP at the same time.
    The UserWP login page can only work for users that are not logged in.
    The UsersWP templates are edited from
    usersWP > Pages > Edit the page you want.

    4. All pages are working OK when I look at them, but because you are using the page builder, you have over-complicated the design.

    I suggest to restore the GD templates back to the default content using the default WP editor, and then be specific about what is not working for you.

    A subscription means there is no end date until the subscription is canceled.
    When using packages you should not use manual expiry unless you want to over-write the package settings.

    Active subscriptions do not have an expiry, but if I am not mistaken, the system can send emails telling them that an automated payment is about to be taken out of their account. I will get the developers to confirm that.

    The listing is still as “monthly basic” and on 6 Feb should go to “free” as per package settings.
    The reason it says overdue, is because you added an expiry date of 3 Jan, see image.

    So that we can understand better, can you please describe why you would need to do that? And describe an example.
    I doubt it is possible without your own customization but it may depend on what you actually mean.

    Invoicing > Settings > Misc tab > Miscellaneous sub-tab > Require Login To Checkout > Leave empty

    They can also find their invoices in their profile.

    Normally a new host offers to migrate everything at no cost.

    Or you can do that yourself:

    But yes, you could import listings with WP All import if you use the GD addon for that. But not the custom fields, and not the custom post types etc.

    To export and import the listings, it is probably even simpler to use the GD export and import, then all you need to do is delete the post IDs (after you created custom fields, custom post types, categories etc).
