It is at GD > Settings > Pricing tab, see image.
I guess you are looking at a video of the previous version of GD.Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.10. You are using this shortcode
[gd_post_images type='image' ajax_load='true' link_to='post' show_logo='true']in
GD > Settings > Pages > Archive Item.
Delete “show_logo=’true'” from the shortcode to always show the featured image of the listing.13. Make sure to add
hide_if_empty="1"to the Franchises tab shortcode.
15. Mmmm, not sure why that is, I’ll get someone else to look at that.
16. Looks like a bug, I can see that on the demo site too. I’ll get someone else to look at that.
18. There used to be another dropdown box beside the Grid/List View dropdown box in Search & Archive pages for some sorting options. I don’t know how it got disappeared and I wonder, how to bring it back!
18. Sorting options are only available on Archive pages, not Search pages.
The sorting option is still on your archive pages.19. I don’t see sub-menu in footer section (I’m using GDF Modern theme). I had checked the Footer Links box in Appearance>Menu page. Do I need to check “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu” box too? I don’t know what it stands for!
19. You need to turn on footer widget areas at
GDF Options > Footer Styling Options.
I set it to 3 widget areas, change as required. Then you can add “Navigation Menu” widgets to the Footer widget areas at Appearance > Widgets.
I added one of your menus in Footer 1.20. I had installed the Google Recaptcha version 3. But when activated, it was giving some errors to visitors like “captcha doesn’t match” while no captcha was being presented. So I’ve currently deactivated it.
20. Invisible reCaptcha is less fool-proof. You can also use the UsersWP reCaptcha addon.
21. In the Add Listing form, there is a box called Expiry Date. But it is never auto filled up even if a different Price Package is chosen. (The default price package offers indefinite free listing). Is that because my packages are of recurring nature?
21. Correct.
22. Another thing I wonder is that I receive invoice payment emails in the name of “test test” while I’ve a different username! I couldn’t find from where this username is being taken.
22. When testing, you used “test” as first name and last name.
Have a look at the invoices at Invoicing > Invoices.23. In Header Right area when I insert GD > Search widget below the GDF > Welcome Login widget, the login link stops functioning. But when I remove GD>Search, login link works perfectly.
23. Added this CSS at GDF Options > Quick Code > CSS:
#gd_search-6 {margin-top: 20px;}24. Private CPT Lisitngs are also accessible with their permalinks or on Places page. Is that how it works?
24. You can only see those links if logged in as admin.
25. Also, how to hide Private Lists from public view. It seems all lists Private or Public are accessible
25. You can only see those lists if logged in as admin.
26. Logo size for a particular listing is too large for the theme in Side Bar & Search pages, so should I set a maximum limit for logo file size for listings? If so, what it should be?
26. Added this CSS at GDF Options > Quick Code > CSS
.geodir-field-logo img {max-width: 100%; height: auto;}27. I didn’t set up a Ninja Form for Claim Listings and a field for Price Package integration but I still see such a form when claiming a listing! Of course, I like it but I’m wondering, how it came up!
27. I guess you chose to install Ninja when running the setup wizard.
28. In the Search Box in Right Header area, search suggestions dropdown window overlaps Primary Menu items and quite strangely, one can click Menu items like “Change Location” from the overlapped text. Same thing happens when signing in. When Login window pops up, you can’t even click on “show password” icon as that row overlaps with Menu items; and Menu items get clicked instead. (This creates a problem on desktop computer at normal zoom level).
28. The GD Search element is not really meant to be used in the Right Header widget area. You are better off to add in the GD TOP widget area.
Thanks
The WP site is not a clean install because you already have listings and users in the WP site.
You can only do the conversion on a new WP site, ie no users except admin, no listings.
I’ll alert the developer again, he is only back on Monday after his holiday break. Thanks
That really sounds like a server issue.
Does it correct itself, or do you need to reset permalinks every time?
What are the error codes? 404 or something else? Thanks
No suggestion, other than to suggest they use the same user account to solve that problem.
ThanksThe conflict comes from the “Massive Elements For WPBakery” plugin.
If you turn that off, the GD Search works fine.
You may be able just to turn off one or a few of the 26 options in that plugin to restore the GD Search.Let us know.
You’re welcome
Is the plugin installed and activated?
It will not be in the sidebar, it is at
GD > Settings > Pricing tab.If we need to check, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
GD > Settings > General tab > Show Advanced > Default map language
Thanks
I am not sure. You will have to do some research. Thanks
This reply has been marked as private. Can you please do a conflict test as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#conflict-test
Turn off all plugins except GD and check if it works then.
Turn them back on one by one until you find what is breaking things.
It could be the theme too, it is also using Google Maps. You also have 2 post types called luoghi. That could also be the problem.
If you cannot find the conflict, post back with FTP details and we will have a closer look.
Thanks
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check your settings.
ThanksThat may be achieved using a membership plugin, but not out of the box with GD or UWP.
Thanks
