1. I added this CSS to GD > design > scripts:
.wrapper .geodir-post-img a {position: initial;}3. The second option is possible without a subscription.
Thanks
Hosting Account login detail will work too usually, if you don’t know your FTP details.

There is no need to create any Add Listing pages, if you add the GD > Loginbox widget, the correct pages will be linked automatically.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know, and sorry for nanswering the wrong question 🙂
You can create a CPT that does not use maps, but still uses locations: hide the listings on the maps at GD > Design > Map
Then tell users to add some generic street address when they add their listing, like “my online business”.Alternatively, use a location-less CPT with categories like you said, or a custom field or tags.
Thanks
All works fine for me. Please clear any caches, and let us know how you went.
If you only want a few:
1. Go to Places > Place Categories
2. Click on the “count” number for the relevant category
3. That will take you to all listings in that category.
4. Use the location filter on the top to narrow to a location.
5. Hover over the titles to see the ID in the status bar.If you need more:
1. Export your listings at GD > Export
2. Filter the exported CSV.Thanks
Use the CPT addon to rename Places to Dentists, and delete the duplicate Dentists CPT.
You cannot delete the default Places CPT but you can rename it.Or delete all listings in the Places CPT.
Thanks
Remove the Map widget from the GD Home Top section, and replace it with a text widget with HTML code to show the image.
Thanks
Sounds like the Ads are not set up correctly.
Do the ads show on a normal WP page or post if you add the Ad widget to the “sidebar page” or “sidebar blog” sections?
If the ads don’t show at all, your Ads are not set up correctly. Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
If you do not have anybody else than yourself add listings, then you can use locations any way you like.
But if you want to allow other users to add listings, you should use auto-suggested locations as explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#locationA listing always needs a lat and lng to place it on the maps, and a city, region and country to organise the listings in location groups. Apart from the location attributes, a listing also needs to be in one Custom Post Type [places], and a category.
After adding a listing, a location will automatically be added to the database: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#edit
You can change the names of those locations, similar to this explanation: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#merge
So if you have a site that lists diving spots or ship wrecks for example, you can add manually rename the location for example to pacific[country]/north[region]/east[city].
Your locations always need to be big/smaller/smallest, like country/region/city.
But remember that not using auto-suggested locations, will require ongoing customizations of the locations as listings are added.Do not try to guess URLs, but create a temporary page with the following shortcodes:
[gd_location_switcher]
[gd_cpt_categories]
Then add the Popular Post Category widget to your GD Home section.
You now will have links to all relevant directory pages. Thanks
