1.This plugin rewrites the path of your folders and files using .htaccess.
2.Your searches etc will no longer work. Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Michiel, that is because you are only allowing submissions to your default city:
GD > Multilocations > City
I changed it for you.Thanks
All depends on the subject of your site etc. There is no solution that fits all.
ThanksNot sure what you mean, categories don’t have tags…?
A link with some more explanation will help us to understand your question.
ThanksThanks for letting us know not to mind 🙂
1. You need to use the Google address selections, or drag the marker. The Google API is a bit sensitive if you use a different format than it expects.
2. Looks like you fixed it.
3. GD > Design > Detail tab > Exclude selected tabs from detail page
If you remove the More Info tab/section, you will have to move some fields like phone etc to the sidebar or somewhere else.
Also implement what Kor said.4. I also allowed maps to be shown again for listings at GD > Design > Maps tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP.
Thanks
I just tested and added 2 listings without any problem using edge on win 10.
Maybe best wait until the site is live, and see if you still have any issues then. Thanks
So you want the geolocation to be set in the browser session, without a reload?
I added this CSS, please check
#menu-item-gd-location-switcher dd {width: 50% !important;} .geodir-chosen-container-single .chosen-single {width: 100% !important;}Thanks
So the additional “undefined” popup(after location is shared) is happening because I’m not using a GD homepage?
No, that is most likely a local issue with cookies and caching.
And the redirect to load the current page after allowing location permission is not an possible, even with custom coding? Why is no redirection an option if it’s not possible?
“No redirection” means no geolocation. That is why it is an option, for people who do not want geolocation and redirection.
Try this:
visit https://wpgeo.directory/gdf/
That page is the GD home page, and if you accept geolocation, it will take you to your closest location, and the page just looks the same because both are using the same setup.
You want the same page to look different for different visitors, that is just not possible.Geolocation without redirection is not possible.
The closest you can get to what you want is to use GD Home as your site’s homepage and then all location pages will have exactly the same widgets and maps etc, except that they will adapt to the location.
It is because you are using a non-GD as your site’s homepage you are not getting what you expect I think.
Or leave as is, but just add the same widgets to the location pages.I think UsersWP will have conditional fields in the final release:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/userswp-beta-gd-integration-uwp-recaptcha/I’ll alert the developer to your question, he maybe has more to add.
Thanks
Most likely a local issue with cookies and caching.
It works fine for me in Chrome, FF and IE and I get redirected to
/location/kauai/kekaha/ every time.
ThanksYour admin email is set at WP settings, the email set at GD is the sender email for notifications to your users, not for admin.
They are not the same.Thanks
