Is there a way to just reload the current page once location permission is given?
That is how it works if you set a redirect option. It will reload if the visitor gives permission. The NEAR ME checkbox has nothing to do with redirect on entry to your site.
That is only for visitors who want to SEARCH near their geolocation.Category pages in that theme look like this:
https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/hotels/Location pages: https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/location/italy/
and you can change the background image. To have category pages like the location pages, you will need to customize the theme considerably, it is not possible as is.
Thanks
There is nothing to fix really.
People can only register once, and then need to login; you cannot register twice with the same email address or username.I noticed that login from the frontend is only possible with email address and not username, that is most likely because all your plugins need updating too, you really should do that to make sure any bugs are fixed.
Thanks

That setting is for the slider in the compass, and the frontend display will be in km if that is the setting at GD > General > Search tab.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#geolocation
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#compassYou can use 0.5 if you like.
But visitors can slide for a smaller or larger area too, and setting to something small means there often will be no results at all.
Results will be shown in order of distance anyway. Thanks
It depends where.
See GD > Event Settings > Default event filter > set to “upcoming”.
See GD > Event Settings > Hide event past datesThanks

I added a bit of more code that works now, it just needs styling.
Please check, thanks.Geolocation will always redirect visitors away from the first page they visit on your site.
It does not matter if your website homepage is not a GD page.
Geolocation is enabled as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#redirectHi all
If this option is selected, users will be asked if they with to be geolocated via a popup
That is a popup that will ask exactly that.
Which is different to the browser then asking if you want to share your location with the website, that is a browser function outside your control.First time load does not refer to a page, but your site. Regardless of what page they land on, the chosen redirect option will be activated.
So geolocation works on any page, the first page visited.“On first time load users will be auto geolocated without being asked if they with to be geolocated via a popup and will not be redirected, that is, they will stay in the home page (which is a WordPress page, not the location or any other GD page).”
If you do not want an automatic redirect, I suggest to add the “GD > Near Me Button widget” which allows the visitor to choose when they want to be geolocated.
There is a difference between GeoLocation and the option in widgets called “Enable location filter”.
Geolocation is the capacity of the browser to detect where the device (or IP address) is.
“Enable location filter” refers to locations (cities) added to your database, and adjusts widget content depending on the location chosen by your visitors (for example, using the location switcher), regardless of their geo-location.
Sort of similar to the difference between NEAR a particular spot in the world (your geolocation or any landmark) and IN a location, meaning a listing added to a city in your database.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
Thanks
Working for me too.
I am guessing you accepted to always geolocate so you will not be asked again.
Try another browser, or use an incognito window or have a look at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/Thanks
I think the issue is that the listing is not expiring, but canceled.
If you post your WP admin details, we’ll have a look. Thanks

If you have a lot of them you can export them and change the package in the CSV file before re-importing.The
Can you install any other plugins? Or do they give the same problem? If so, you can upload the files using FTP, or find another server.
