translate the Infotext of “State” and the “City”
That is in the location manager language file. All the other fields are GD custom fields.
The “description” is the WP default post field.
The field cannot be disabled.
There is no way to add “infotext” below the listing “description” without customization.#2 and #3 That should be in the GD core language file: wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-languages
If it is not there, that suggests you are not using the latest language file, see image
You will have to update using this process: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/To change the title of the page:
GD > Titles and Meta > ADD LISTING PAGE META SETTINGS > Add listing page title > Create %%pt_single%% ProfileJanuary 20, 2017 at 10:29 pm in reply to: cant find "listing title" & "listing description" in the po file #346596This reply has been marked as private.January 20, 2017 at 10:26 pm in reply to: cant find "listing title" & "listing description" in the po file #3465922. Have a look at the images, that would be the simplest way. You can use HTML in the translation.
3. That seems to be a new bug, I can confirm that. I will get the developers to look at that.
I’ll get someone else to answer question #1 too.
Thanks
I am guessing a “group” is a directory listing.
If the 60 leaders share the username and password of the user that added the listing with each other, they all will be able to login and edit the “group”.I hope I understood you correctly. Thanks.
Or you can turn if off in your price packages if you want it for some packages and not others.
Thanks. This reply has been marked as private.Only kim-fox can edit the listing.
“Appears” to be malicious …

Thanks
1 + 2 + 3. Check with Stiofan at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/csv-import-3/
I am guessing there will not be any need to reference the image in the CSV file, the code snippet will sort that.4. If you create a location using the two-letter state and then MERGE and select the two-letter state version as the primary city, then the two-letter version will indeed override the Google required long-form spelling.
But is a user adds a new listing in the same city, the long-version duplicate will be created again. Thanks
If you add the location switcher, then the current location will automatically show in the menu … and will show the switcher if no location is set …
That does not sound right, that is now how it should work.
That suggests you have not translated the categories etc.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to check anything. Thanks. There seems to be a bug if you only use the default city with neighbourhoods.
A developer will have a look for you.Can you please post your FTP details too. Thanks.
Hi Max, many of the files at https://www.wpgeodirectory.com/translate/projects are for earlier versions of the plugins, and you maybe have to update some of them.
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/Thanks
