Categories can only be added or deleted in the backend.

You can untick – or tick by default at GD > Design > Map > Select category to untick by default on map
but that will not hide them.Thanks
Have you tried using one of the other selection options at GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields > Taxonomy.
That seems to be server related, I cannot replicate that behavior on my test site, but I’ll get the developers to have a look too after the weekend.Have you turned of Rocket Loader?

Hi Michael, do you mean for a GD listing? If that is what you mean, that is how it works, GD listings do not use the Media library.
Did you try what Stiofan suggested in https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/multisite-and-geo-plugin-updates-cant-update/#post-331023
It seems the updates will only show if the core and the addon are activated on the main site.
I will work on a fix for this, for now it’s best you update via ftp, or you could activate them on the main site just to update.

Not necessarily, you can add content to some of them, it will show up.
Feel free to test, just add something in the Add Listing page for example, it will show on the top of the page.That is standard on the detail page, see here for an example [top sidebar]:
